Directions and access we're easy ???? thanks to the great communication from Marion. Facilities were amazing - Everything was provided from tea and coffee to loo roll and bin bags. The sofas were really nice and the whole living area was spacious. The bed was aleady made up and was very comfortable with smart tv in both bedrooms. We knew to bring towels which was no problem. The view was fantastic and it was peaceful - we loved the Watership Down entertainnent right outside the caravan. We really didn’t want to leave and will definitely return. The caravan park was amazing ???????????and we loved the walk across the golf club to West Bay. ????

.

It is a superb comfortable, spacious holiday home 35 x12 in immaculate condition, with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday.

It has 2 bedrooms one with en-suite and both have small tvs.

The living room has a sofa bed if needed.

There is patio furniture on the enclosed decking and also in the enclosed garden patio.

From its elevated position on the park you have stunning views across the park, hills and out to sea.

Turn left as you leave the caravan and it’s a minute walk with steps to the amenities the park offers.

Passes for the swimming pool and evening entertainment are provided but please ensure they are left in the caravan when you depart as cost £10 each to replace. The private beach is a few minutes walk away.

Anglers can fish from the beach or book sea fishing days from WestBay.

If you enjoy a round of golf there is a golf course next to the holiday park.

You can walk to West Bay along the beach or by following the public footpath over the golf course.

The walk up over the cliff to Burton Bradstock or the Hive gives you lovely views or an easier route is through the camping field..

The village boasts two great pubs The Three Horseshoes and The Anchor.

The restaurant at the Hive is highly recommended.

Bridport is worth a visit especially on market days, Wednesday and Saturday and has a variety of independent shops. Further afield is Lyme Regis, Charmouth for fossils, Weymouth with its stunning sandy beach and Portland where you can climb the Lighthouse if feeling energetic!

About the location

No village

Chatsworth 1 mile; Bakewell 5 miles.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
