“First time I have booked private rather than the standard caravan with the park owners and it won’t be the last.”
Only time ever I have had to repack the bags i have packed and reload the car as household items weren’t needed. The caravan has everything you can think of and more, plenty towels, cleaning items, children’s games, condiments and even a cheeky bottle of Prosecco which was a nice touch thank you.
Wi-fi was super fast and coped well with our multitude of phones / ipads / firestick which was a bonus with older kids
Comfortable beds and furnishing were of a good standard, shower was powerful.
Lovely spacious location of caravan with plenty space to walk the dog. Decking was fab and we didn’t feel too overlooked, we enjoyed the prosecco in the sunshine.
The swimming pool on-site is more like an oversized bath tub but as we were the only family in the pool we had a ball. There is a bigger pool in Girvan but this one was fine for us. Daniel the lifeguard was fab with us and entertained the kids.
Had a few drinks in the bar and there was bingo and a singer but i think this is weekends only. Prices were high but nothing we didn’t expect. No arcades (my purse was glad) however there’s a decent pool table.
There is a small kids area to play in but suited us fine, was enough for my youngest to have a play in.
All staff we met seemed friendly and spoke away to us, just a shame that Arwyn (i think that’s how you spell it) seems to the be the only one who knows how everything works and seemed rushed off her feet. She is a credit to the company.
Overall a nice relaxing weekend away which is what i was hoping it would be, and am looking to rebook for sometime next year.
