The park, Oakdene is very nicely placed off of the main road (off the A31) so easy to get to with a Sainsburys with Petrol Station nearby making it easy to get essentials and fill up once there cheaply. There is a McDonalds, Beefeater, Green King and a Marstons Pub literally all within 2 roundabouts away from the site entrance. Very handy after a long day to grab something to eat.
The Park itself is very nice, clean and well run with daily activities. The Main Complex has a nice swimming pool with flume which is great for the kids, a restaurant with a big choice to choose from, a small but adequate arcade with the usual machines you would expect and a fairly big entertainment hall with a good entertainment program for both kids and adults.
Now the Caravan, this is based right next to the complex so no long walks back after your evening is over. It has a lovely large wrap around deck which is lovely to spend time on when the sun is shining and parking right next to the caravan. The lounge diner and kitchen is open plan with patio door fully opening onto the decking. It has a large freeze freezer, good oven and a microwave. The dining area table can be pulled in and out to allow people to get in and sit easily. The twin room is small with a large shelf above the bed to store clothes and a tiny wardrobe, but as kids will mostly be located here the space works fine for them to sleep in. The Main bathroom has a double shower which me being 6ft 1 found perfectly fine to use, with shelves to put your products. The Main bedroom was quite large, had a small dressing table and a large wardrobe with draws which did us fine for our holiday. The ensuite toilet was quite cramped but it was a nice luxury.
The caravan was cleaned before our arrival and any questions we had for the owners were answered promptly, they were always happy to help. It is a nice park to stay on and the location made it perfect to get out easily onto the main roads and get to the New Forest, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Salisbury and Southampton. We also visited Paultons Park to go to Peppa World, Marwell Zoo, New Forest Wildlife Park. These locations are all within 30-45 mins drive.
We had a nice time here and would stay again if going to the New Forest area.
