The property

Our high specification, ultra-modern caravan for holiday hire on Hoburne Park.

Being at the end of a row it offers privacy to the left hand side and is child friendly. fresh linen and towel are included with every stay.

Pets are welcome upon request My entire family have enjoyed coming to Hoburne for over 15 years.

Sadly the children are getting older now and we don't come down as much. Our modern caravan is of a high specification and is a child friendly, end of row caravan enabling privacy to the left hand side.

We use this site to sunbath and play as there is hedgerow, ensuring no neighbours can see (the main reason I feel it is in the quietest and best position of any caravan on the site).

All our neighbours are lovely people who respect other's privacy but are always there for a chat or to help out in any way. The caravan offers 2 bedrooms (it's actually 3 bed but use the extra bedroom locked for our personals) double glazing, central heating, 3 TVs and DVD players, Sky TV (only with your own viewing card), a comfortable lounge and fully fitted, modern kitchen.

Wif box is included and free with access to the password.

it works brilliantly. Within the kitchen you will find a double oven/grill; 3 speed extractor over 4 way electric hob; a kettle and toaster; coffee bean grinder/percolator/maker in one; full cutlery and tableware; a microwave; fridge and freezer; plus cleaning utensils. The dining area has a table and 6 chairs, which separates the kitchen from the front room. The front room is lovely and modern with a fireplace, a large modern fabric (very comfortable) corner sofa, a single sofa chair and pouffe to match, a coffee table, 32" TV with full HD Freeview, along with a Sky box - all you need to do is bring your Sky viewing card if you so desire. Large opening, double glazed French doors lead to the sun balcony.

The sun hits this balcony from early morning until evening – it’s fabulous.

We supply a patio table and chairs with parasols.

We only have a hedge to the side of the caravan giving us privacy all day between the hedge and our caravan - great for sunbathing and picnics on the grass if you so wish.

We may give sensible people access to our outdoor, brand new gas BBQ at a small supplement to cover gas etc. Our master bedroom has a king size bed (fresh and clean, luxury bed linen provided) with en-suite toilet and basin with a mirror.

It also has a large double wardrobe with a dressing area and stool, Freeview TV/DVD player, plenty of sideboard drawer space, four above bed cupboards, plus a radiator – it is very cool in summer and toasty warm when the central heating is on. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds (fresh and clean luxury bed linen provided), a large wardrobe, ample sideboard with drawers and numerous over bed storage cupboards, along with a Freeview TV/DVD player and a radiator. The caravan sleeps 4.

Accommodation could be made for a 5th person at a subsidy if absolutely necessary - please ask for details. We do have a third bedroom, but this is locked and not available for use as it holds our personal holiday items. In the main bathroom is a toilet, basin, under basin cupboard, large walk-in shower (permanent hot water) and a mirror cupboard. Venetian blinds and privacy curtains are fitted throughout the caravan. We will supply fresh new quality bed linen for both bedrooms, but towels for bathroom are not supplied, so would have to bring your own. We will leave instructions for using the central heating and constant hot water. Passes are NOT included in our rental cost, but can be purchased directly from the Park or we can do it for you...just ask as the prices differ yearly.

You will entitled to use all the facilities if passes are purchased, such as the indoor pool, outdoor pool, gym, restaurant, café, 2 bars with full ongoing daily and evening entertainment.

I believe that club passes are £50-£80 i think for an entire family for the whole week, which is well worth it.

This price will need to be confirmed with Hoburne. Sorry, but we only rent out the caravan on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday).

Generally, we can't accommodate short breaks as we use a reputable cleaning company and replace fresh bed linen which costs a lot of money.

Please do ask for a short break though as we may just be able to help at quieter times of year - you never know. We must insist on a 20% deposit upon booking/application due to numerous people always wanting to use this caravan.

The remaining balance must be paid 8 weeks before your date of occupation. Reservations made 8 weeks or less from the date of occupation must be paid in full upon making a booking.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.

About the location

CHICHESTER

Goodwood 5 miles; West Wittering 9 miles; The Witterings 8 miles; Bracklesham Bay 8 miles; Hayling Island 11 miles; Arundel 13 miles; Portsmouth 15 miles.

The city of Chichester dates back to before Roman times and is mentioned in the Domesday Book as having 300 dwellings. Being the only city in West Sussex, it holds pride of place as the county town and with its magnificent 12th century cathedral and its fine Georgian shopping centre, it can truly claim to be a cultural and artistic experience for anyone visiting. Why not join one of the guided walking tours that will take you around Chichester and the city walls, or explore art galleries, museums, and historic houses or take in a show at the renowned Festival Theatre? Many exhibitions and events take place throughout the year, making this a wonderful place to visit. The Market Cross, given to the city in 1501 to provide shelter to those selling produce, is said to be the finest in Britain. Still a vibrant city, Chichester with its pedestrian shopping area, Victorian tea rooms, quaint antiques shops and continental restaurants, offers visitors a day of delights. For those who enjoy the sea and watersports, make for the popular seaside resorts of East and West Wittering and Bracklesham Bay which are just on the doorstep for family days out; so with everything from snorkelling and diving to cycling, long country walks and bird watching, Chichester is the perfect setting for anything from summer holidays to cosy winter breaks. Take a walk along the Chichester Canal to Chichester Yacht Basin and Marina and enjoy the spectacular of the yachts and boats. Add to this a bit of kayaking, golf and fishing, and there’s plenty to keep the whole family occupied all year round, all of which are made better thanks to Chichester’s ‘micro-climate’. Goodwood is home to several events each year, starting with its Festival of Speed, then into Glorious Goodwood and finally Goodwood Revival bringing visitors from home and abroad to watch, listen and cheer as horses or cars race or parade in front of thousands of spectators. Chichester, is a city of history and intrigue, culture and cuisine, theatres and art galleries. Lying between two areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty – the South Downs and Chichester Harbour – as well as other nature reserves, stunning beaches and dramatic coastline to the south making a spectacular variety of places to discover and an ideal place for a break to unwind and relax.
