“Would not stay again.”
When we arrived we found the floors tatty, dirty and in need of a good clean. There was dust on the hob and and grime in the oven. We also found other things damaged.
We later found out that a number for the windows would not open. This was particularly bad as the stay was over a hot weekend. When we called the host on two different numbers it took all afternoon for them to reply. Telling us they were aware of the issues and to use a flat object or knife to poke to locks open!
After we recleaned the caravan, the stay was pleasant. But after we left the owner accused my small #frenchie of ripping one of their small net curtains in a bedroom and took £30 extra from the security deposit. Inspite of the fact that no dogs were allowed in the bedrooms and that my poor frenchie who is a miniture variety could not reach the bed or windows and was never let in the bedrooms.
Avoid this especially if you have a dog!

I'm very sorry you feel a need to post a scathing post.
Your review is inaccurate.
You imply that all of the content of your review was conveyed to the owner in your WhatsApp message, when all you actually reported, was the malfunction of the window.
I was aware of the issue with the window and offered a quick fix, which you acknowledged.
These window parts had previously been ordered and were awaiting delivery.
Had there of been any other issues with the accommodation, then surely, that was the time to bring these to the owners attention, for any remedial action to be taken.
The caravans are cleaned to a high standard and it is highly unlikely that those areas you allude to would have been neglected, considering the checking protocols in place.
As it is, your complaint was made, only after you had vacated the caravan and subsequently notified of the damage found in the caravan, which you have since disputed.
The claim for damages against your security deposit was honest and fair, in line with common practice of all post let inspections of the accommodation.
There are a number of positive reviews on this platform and these will only serve to highlight how ridiculous yours is.
