“A lovely comfortable caravan very clean and well equipped.”

The owner was very kind to leave beer, wine and essential groceries on our arrival a thoughtful touch. The site is in a lovely quiet setting with nice view of the sea. Altogether a great time had would definitely return and recommend to anyone. Thankyou

“Would not book again because the owner unfairly charged us £20 of our deposit for a main entry door hinge which he says is broken , either it was broken before our stay or is wear and tear , all we did was open and close the door as necessary.”

And we had a kitchen water leak which the owner had to come and sort out which was messy to clean up .

Very unfair not my fault there was a leak there within two hours very minor leak thanks for booking. And £20 pounds was taken due to damage to caravan I go the extra mile to make sure all customers are happy shame I carnt please everyone Property Owner

Hired a caravan off Mr Elvey who was very nice and had good communication with us at all times. Left us a lot of provisions and even a bottle of wine and beers which was very kind and unexpected. Would highly recommend.

The property

Dynasty super 35 ft by 12 ft caravan. Two bedroom caravan sleeps six guests. Double glazing with gas fire if needed for colder months.

The Caravan has 42in TV with DVD cinema system and play Station, with a large selection of DVD'S and games.

There is also a good selection of board games incase of a rainy day.

The caravan has a barbecue with an outdoor table and chairs fully equipped baby changing room WiFi is included but not unlimited, and due to location is unreliable, please bear that in mind when booking It now has new flooring,new carpets and new vinyl flooring in bathroom and kitchen. It also benefits from new fridge freezer and cooker. Leysdown is just a twenty minute walk away.

There's a few nice places to visit just 15 minutes walk from the site is the Walnut tree pub/restaurant with its nice beer garden.

Also you have the Hartley Ferry Inn, a nice restaurant with great views.

I can also recommend the Brambledown farm shop, has a great selection of local products.

Sheerness itself is a seaside town with a good selection of shops and fast food outlets.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £40.

Chatsworth 1 mile; Bakewell 5 miles.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
