The property

Family run, cherished caravan available for rent in Romney Sands, a Parkdean Holiday Resort.

The caravan is only 90 meters away from the carp-filled fishing lake. Our lovely new 2022 caravan sleeps eight people: there is a master bedroom with a double bed and 2x twin single bedrooms, plus a sofa in the front room that doubles as a sofa bed, which comfortably sleeps two people.

All bedding and hand towels are included; so all you need to bring are bath towels.

Opposite one of Kent’s finest sandy beaches and close to the wildlife-filled Romney Marshes, this natural hideaway offers endless adventures. Close to both the Greatstone Dunes and the Dungeness Nature Reserve, there’s plenty to do nearby too.

Stroll through the dunes to reach miles of golden sandy beach or take a walk to spot the local wildlife.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
