“A beautiful lodge on a site that caters for water sports, beach lovers and those that enjoy walking in the great outdoors.”
The lodge was very clean and spacious, basic kitchen condiments were provided along with cleaning sprays, tea towels etc
The main kitchen table seats 6 and there is plenty of eating utensils, glasses, cutlery etc
All 3 rooms are very comfy and spacious, a big plus is that the owner provides towels and bed linen which helps when packing for a family of 5.
They’re an inflatable water sports assault course and you can also take part in wake boarding for around £20 pp. The Ski bar on site which overlooks the water sports caters for those wanting food and drinks and is under an 10 min walk from the lodge. There’s also a little ice cream van close to the beach. Tesco is literally a 5 minute drive away and the town of Millom has an old fashioned museum and a variety of quaint, quirky shops which are appealing to adults and children.
I would definitely recommend the lodge and site for those wanting to relax and reset and explore the outdoors.
