“We spent a week at this lovely caravan.”

All three of us, myself wife and grown up son found everything you need for a weeks break. Ideally located close to the shops and takeaways but far enough not to get any noise from them either. The caravan was spotlessly clean with fresh bedding on all the beds. Definitely gets full marks one to choose if you are looking for a family break away. Thank you very much.

“Just returned from a weekend at Lakeland Leisure Park in this fab caravan.”

Great location close to amenities. Caravan was so clean and fresh with beds made up on arrival. The added bonus of WiFi and Smart TV and an air fryer. I don’t drink hot drinks but thought the added touch of tea and coffee was fantastic! Great communication from the owners and will most definitely book again!! Thanks again!

“The caravan was very clean and comfortable.”

Close to all amenities which was a bonus and in a quiet corner plot with enough room for 2 cars. Nice area to play outside for children too. The caravan had all we needed and anything else was found in the mini market (dishcloths, kitchen roll etc). We will be booking again next year. Thanks.

“First holiday as a family, and it really felt like a home from home, very well catered for young children from a travel cot to cutlery.”

The caravan was spotless upon arrival with all information need all in one place. Very close to all the activities and club house which made everything 100% easier as it was only a 2 minute walk to nip back for anything. Would definitely recommend and will be rebooking in the near future. Would also like to thank Simon and Mel for the treats left for when we arrived.

“Wow what a wonderful Halloween weekend we have had staying in this spotless caravan.”

On arrival it was immaculate and smelt amazing. It was well equipped and spacious for 2 adults and 3 children. It's location couldn't have been better, especially with young children (one being a 3 montha old). We were able to get to activities in minutes and pop back quickly when needed. The children were thrilled with the complimentary Halloween lollies and my daughter LOVED the rainbow coloured coathangers. We are already planning out next stay. Thank you Simon and Mel.

“We arrived here on the 23/10/2023 for 4nights the caravan is in a great location right opposite all the amenities upon entering' the caravan was spotless and has everything you would need and we were left some little treats by simon and mel.”

We can't fault anything about our stay. Simon and mel were in contact thou out our stay in case we needed them and giving us information about the park and surrounding areas. Thank you so much we really enjoyed our mini in your caravan and we will be returning nxt year ????

“We stayed with Cooks holiday rentals at Lakeland and the static home is immaculate, with WiFi and smart TV (perfect for the little ones) it was spacious and kitted out for our little one (travel cot and high chair) the location is 5 star, so close to the park amenities and the activities whilst we was here were 2nd to none.”

Mel and Si was in touch throughout with information and directions for the caravan. Thank you so much for the most perfect weekend break. We've booked again for May ????

“Just back from a lovely stay at Lakeland!”

The caravan was immaculate, very well furnished, like home from home! Very spacious! Simon and Mel left a welcome gift, which was a lovely way to start our holiday, also the site was really good, had everything there to keep us entertained/busy during our stay. We even managed to do paddle boarding at the on-site lake! Will definitely be coming again! Thanks for a brilliant stay????

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
