“The caravan was perfect for our stay.”
It's clean, tidy and spacious. We were 3 adults and 2 teenage children. The caravan is very close to the main complex and very quiet considering. It isn't on the direct route to the entertainment so you don't get ma y passersby.
Jenny was really helpful and even contacted us on the day of our arrival to let us know about a power cut. Jenny responded almost straight away to emails and I would definitely recommend staying at this caravan. Everything you need is there including tea and coffee.
The site itself is good, lots of things for kids to do, very dog friendly and the staff are superb. The shop is very well stocked and the site is within travelling distance to many sights and places to visit. Stock Ghyll waterfall is 45 minutes away in Ambleside and is definitely worth the trip! There are some lovely pubs around to eat at, at a very good price however the food onsite is really overpriced and not particularly brilliant, as we are out every evening, this really wasn't an issue. The nearest large supermarket I could find was in Kendal.
WiFi on the site is an issue, this isn't anything to do with the rental but worth mentioning to those with teens. We are with 3 and struggled to get any phone signal or data so if you want to plan days out etc, you either have to go to the main complex to get data or go to the village to get a signal.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback it is much appreciated, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We value any feedback and plan to look into wi fi, so hopefully we can start offering this soon. Thanks again Jenny .
