The property

Amblers Hide is our stunning dog-friendly self-catering 4-berth static caravan, which is located on a quiet and very relaxing family-run Holiday Park in the village of Brigham near Cockermouth in Cumbria.

The site is located on the edge of the Lake District National Park, which in 2017 was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our static caravan is situated at Brigham Holiday Park, which is a beautiful well-maintained gated site comprising of 72 privately owned static caravans, and it has the added bonus of a Site Warden.

You will find the Holiday Park a really wonderful place to relax and unwind, and it is open all year round. The site has easy access to the A66 and is an ideal location to tour the beautiful Lakes, Forests and Mountains of the Lake District and everything it has to offer the discerning traveller.

Accommodation - ABI Ambleside Static Caravan - Sleeps maximum of 4 people. Bedroom 1 - Extremely Spacious Bedroom with King Size Bed.

Built in Wardrobe with Drawers below.

Vanity Unit and Stool with Drawers to the side and Cupboards above giving plenty of storage.

Window Seat with Drawers below.

Two Bedside Cupboards with Overhead Lights.

Plus through another door in the bedroom is the En-suite Bathroom comprising of Shower, Toilet and Wash Basin with Storage Cupboard below and Mirror Cabinet above plus additional Wall Storage Cupboard and shelves above the Towel Radiator. Bedroom 2 - Good size 2nd Bedroom.

Towel Radiator Kitchen - Built-in Gas Oven with Built in Microwave above, Built-in 5 Ring Gas Hob, 70/30 Fridge Freezer, Full Size Dishwasher, 9kg Washing Machine, Dulce Gusto Coffee Maker, Kettle, Toaster, Non Stick Saucepans, Frying Pans, Cutlery, Plates, Bowls, Cups and Glasses plus various Baking Trays and Dishes etc.. Lounge - 43" Hisense Full HD Freeview Smart Television so you can use your own Amazon Prime and Netflix Accounts.

Very comfortable corner sofa & chair with additional cushions, coffee table.

Wall mounted feature electric fire with display unit surround. Free Wi-Fi connection and USB charging sockets. Blu-Ray Player & a selection of DVDs.

Two Very Comfortable Two Seater Sofas with additional Cushions, Coffee Table & Side Tables.

Fireplace with feature Electric Fire.. Dining Area - Dining table with four dining chairs. Outside - Full Gated Composite & Glass Decking to front and side of property, with Garden Furniture.

Three Steps take you on to the Decking Area from the Parking Space. One car parking space and your own small grassed area to side of caravan (not enclosed).

No vehicles are permitted to park on the grass.

1 medium dog or 2 small dogs only allowed on request. All bed linen and towels are supplied. Full gas central heating controlled by wireless thermostat.

Gas, electricity and water is included in the nightly rate. There is an additional charge for cleaning. Site Rules State : No Contractors or Work Vans are allowed to stay on site. No Hen or Stag Party Bookings.

About the location

COCKERMOUTH

Bassenthwaite Lake 7 miles; Keswick 13 miles.

The small country market town of Cockermouth is situated in the quiet north-western part of the Lake District, a largely undiscovered and unspoilt area, yet only 13 miles from Keswick. The town is famous as the birthplace of both William Wordsworth and Fletcher Christian (of Mutiny on the Bounty fame) and Wordsworth’s Georgian family home, on the main street, is now a popular visitor attraction, owned by the National Trust. Cockermouth offers a good variety of shops, pubs and places to eat, but (of course) the main attraction of the area is the beautiful scenery and excellent walking in the northern lakes – Bassenthwaite Lake, Ennerdale Water and Derwent Water.
