“We had a great week away in this lodge.”

Lovely peaceful area of the park with a short walk to the main facilities (it’s not as far to walk as you first think). Lodge itself is spacious for a family of 6. The twin rooms had full size beds with plenty of room and the double room had a walk in wardrobe which was a nice addition. Derek was so helpful throughout and also left a little gift on arrival for our 3 boys. Would highly recommend

“I cannot fault this lodge.”

Position was perfect for the grandchildren. Plenty of space outside to run around. Views are spectacular. Inside, the lodge is spacious, modern and immaculate. Added bonus of towels and cleaning products. Sleep quality good and environment quiet. On a clear night we turned all the lights out and the sky was amazing. We all really enjoyed our stay and will definitely rebook

“This was 3rd stay at the lodge.”

As always, it was spotless, fully equipped and with a welcome drinks pack. Towels and bedding are included. The lodge is very spacious and the veranda has the sun from morning til night. You have great views across the golf course and right across the bay which can also be seen from the lounge as well as the veranda. If you take the pathway to the right of the lodge you get to a beautiful secluded sandy beach, but this is not a suitable path for prams. The normal beach for the camp is more accessible. Great communication from Derek as always. Thanks again for letting us stay.

The location is perfect with sea views and it’s right on the golf course so my husband is very happy! Derek really is a great person. He keeps the lodge in a ‘just like new’ condition. There are even lovely touches like drinks in the fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, towels, hand gel in bathrooms and dishwasher tablets. It’s so quiet and peaceful to top it all off. Thank you Derek for all you do to help us to enjoy our holidays.

“We had a fantastic stay at the lodge.”

The lodge was spotlessly clean with extra care having been taken by the owners as they were aware we have a toddler and baby. As a family we are used to staying in caravans and the size difference was so noticeable, the lodge is huge! There was no squeezing past each other in the living room, the kitchen had so much storage, the walk in wardrobe in the master bedroom provided lots of space for clothes and suitcases etc, and the beds were standard sized rather than the smaller beds you associate with caravans so all guests got a good night's sleep. The location of the caravan not only benefits from spectacular views but also offers privacy as it is the last lodge in the row. As a family with small children we found this brilliant as it meant it was quiet in the evenings which helped with bedtimes. Throughout the whole process from booking the lodge, to the holiday itself, Derek was helpful and always happy for you to contact him if you had any questions or requests. As we went during a heatwave we asked for fans to be left for us and he did this straight away. We can't fault the lodge, or the owner, and would book again without any hesitation.

“Well, what can I say- We were blown away by the size of the lodge, having only stayed in platinum caravans before- it was huge!”

- no bashing into each other when walking around! Very impressed at how spacious it was. The beds are bigger than caravans and so very comfortable. We hadn't realised there was a washing machine, so if we stayed for 2 weeks, that would be so useful. Having a dishwasher was important to us. Clean towels provided and complimentary drinks and teabags were very much appreciated. Posh oven gloves. Very quiet Location, which is invaluable for a good night's sleep. The only thing I would say would be worth having that was missing would be table mats , maybe some hooks in the bathroom and a few scatter cushions for settees..but these are only minor details. This is the best accommodation I have stayed in for a very long time. Thank you Derek.

“Absolutely beautiful lodge in a private, picturesque setting.”

Good communication with the owner throughout. Will definitely be looking to book again for next year. The lodge has wrap around decking overlooking the golf course and the sea. It is the last lodge on the the row so nice and private. Inside there is a huge kitchen and living space which was nice with small children as you never felt on top of each other. The beds are also good sizes and very comfortable. Will be recommending to everyone I know.

“Having never rented a private lodge before, the owners made the whole experience simple and stress free.”

They were always available if we needed anything or had questions prior to and during our stay. The Lodge itself is beautifully located and very spacious, clean and felt like home from home. Everything you need is provided for and thanks for the welcome drinks, after a long journey it was just the ticket!!. The location is wonderful for quiet walks along the coast but only a short walk from the general amenities that the wider site has to offer. I cannot recommend this lodge enough - fantastic from start to finish and we would love to stay again next year. Many thanks to you both!!

It is very clean and spacious. There are towels and bedding for each person and electric fans in every room. The welcome drinks pack is a lovely touch. Fantastic views from the decking which can also be seen from just sitting in the lounge. The lodge is positioned in a quiet part of the park up on the golf course. There are great pathways up the coast walk. Excellent communication with the owner Derek. Hoping to book again soon.

“This was our third stay at this beautiful lodge in the last 12 months.”

I wouldn’t book to stay anywhere else as I think the lodge is in the best location on the park. It’s not overlooked, has no passing traffic, is on the edge of the golf course and has amazing views of the sea. What more could you want? The lodge is perfect with everything needed to help you enjoy a great break. You can chill out and enjoy the picturesque view or walk 10 minutes into the park and visit the entertainment, pubs and restaurants. There’s so much to do here. We love traveling around the peninsula as there are so many quiet, hidden beaches.

Lovely views in a nice quiet area, loads of space on the outside decking area as well. We were a family of 6, and actually couldn’t believe how much space we had! Owner very helpful, provided travel cot and high chair for us which was great! Really loved it all!

“A beautiful lodge!”

It is in what we would consider to be the best location on the park. It is pretty much the last lodge in the park right beside the 2nd tee on the golf course and from the living room window you look over views of the golf course and the sea (you can't even see another lodge!). Nice quiet location but only about 10 minutes walk to the central hub with amazing facilities. There are two remotely operated gates to get to the lodge so there is virtually no traffic in the area. Lodge has everything we needed, having a dishwasher and washer/dryer was brilliant. Nice and clean on arrival. Owner was very friendly and helpful in all his communication. We had a great time and all agreed it was our best holiday ever! We hope to be back again soon.

“This lodge is superb!”

!! Fantastically well equipped with everything you may need, in the most perfect location with stunning views, and the best value for money. We enjoyed a week here with our one year old son. He loved watching the wildlife right outside the lodge everyday. It is in the quietest of locations on this busy Haven site but still only a 10 minute walk to all the action. We found the lodge extremely homely and comfortable and we would not hestitate to recommend this accomodation to our family and friends. We will definately book here again. Our only piece of feedback was around the cleanliness on arrival. We reported this to the owner who acted immediately and within 24 hrs had contacted the company he uses to clean, reported our findings to the manager and came back to us with a response. Outstanding service in our opinion!! We highly rate the accomodation, facilities and the communication from the owner. We will definately be back!!!!

It has everything you could possibly need and more, location is perfect - I would go as far to say probably the best location at the whole park with golf and sea views to die for! It is around a 10 minute walk to the centre but well worth it. The lodge itself is very spacious and the beds are full size and very comfy. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need from bottle opener to DVD library and everything in between. The lodge is at the far end of the site. Excellent privacy and safety and easy access down a path to a beautiful secluded beach. Right on the edge of the golf course next to a nature reserve area. Great views across to the sea. Everything you need for cooking and relaxation. Home from home. The site is wonderful. Loads to do. Clean and the food in the Mash and Barrel is great. The staff at Haven were extreamly friendly helpful and attentive to our needs. The pool staff were very friendly and made our daughter feel very safe and special on the water slides. This is by far the best site we have been to and we have been to most of them in Wales Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Thanks Derek for another great holiday.

The lodge is stunning inside, very spacious in the lounge/kitchen areas with high end fixtures and fittings throughout. All areas of the lodge were spotlessly clean, you would think you've just walked into a show home! The lodge has great views overlooking a golf course and the sea. It was perfect for our kids to have free space outside of the lodge. The outdoor area is fantastic which has a lovely 8 seater dining table. It was well equipped for eating in and cooking as that's what we did most nights. It was absolutely immaculate and was spotless on arrival. I honestly thought we were the first family to rent it out is was so clean! We also loved how it was gated access only as it had a private feel to it. The location was so peaceful and quiet. It was only a short walk to the centre of the park too. We couldn't have wished for a better location/lodge and would definitely like to return in the near future. Thank You Derek for the great communication and for making the booking so easy. You have been very helpful and answered a lot of questions before we arrived.

With views of the golf course and the sea this lodge couldn't be situated any better. It has lovely decor and a high specification of equipment and is truly a great place to stay and relax. In fifteen years of visiting Hafan y Mor we've never stayed in so much! A great short break in a lovely setting.

The property

Our three bedroom lodge is located in the Golf Village at Hafan Y Mor, a peaceful retreat within the park providing space for luxury sea-view lodges that overlook a private golf course.

Our Willerby Boston lodge is situated in one of the most exclusive areas of the park.

After a couple of years renting mainly through the park we are now returning to private lets.

Check out the Reviews section for our ratings over a number of years. MASTER BEDROOM With a king-sized bed, a walk in wardrobe and en-suite shower room.

TWIN ROOMS Each of these rooms comes with two single beds and integrated cupboard space.

LIVING/DINING AREA Plenty of room for a family of six in the dining and living areas.

A 42 inch TV with Freeview and DVD player plus an integrated MP3 sound system make this living room fantastic for those nights you just want to stay in and relax.

Patio doors lead to the balcony showcasing stunning, west facing views across the golf course to the sea.

KITCHEN Modern, spacious, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer/drier, fridge, freezer, 5-ring hob, built in double oven and microwave.

Generous cupboard space. GENERAL The lodge has double glazing, central heating and wooden floors throughout.

Bed linen and a set of towels are provided but please bring your own tea towels and towels for the beach and pool. Access available from 4.00 PM on day of arrival.

Guests are asked to vacate no later than 10:00AM on day of departure to enable the lodge to be cleaned. WI-FI The park has a site-wide Wi-Fi network available to visitors.
