The caravan was excellent. Super clean, well equipped, we brought a lot of stuff that we didn't need as Shirley provided so many things. Large aray of toys, dvds, board games, books and lots of outdoor beach toys. Great location in the park, very central but quiet. Would highly recommend for families. If we return to primrose Valley we will stay here again. Thanks Shirley.

“Caravan was very clean and very well equipped.”

Rented at short notice due to personal circumstances owner was extremely helpful and kind hearted. 2 smal? children very well catered for in terms of age appropriate dvds and toys provided and the adults also rediscoverd their love of long forgotten board games (thanks for the Xmas gift ideas, will be noisy and competitive lol) Kitchen was very well equipped and the cenral heating and double glazing meant that the caravan was warm and cosy, the 3 bedrooms and bedding were clean and comfortable and the extra toilet a bonus especially with 3 adults and 2 small children. The park entertainment was enjoyable and bike hire was fun even though the weather was not. The recommendations made by the owner regarding the local pubs and supermarkets were spot on. When it was time to leave made full use of the launderette saving having to do it all when you get home and just want to relax. Overall an excellent few days break when desperately needed and would definatly stay here again. Many thanks to dave and Shirley who were only a phone call away your kindness and consideration at what was such a sad time for us was very much appriciated.

“We recently returned from this caravan and the owner is refusing a refund on the deposit based on the cleaner not being able to get into the key box.”

There were no instructions on how to leave the key therefore my husband put the key in the box and closed it. Apparently we should have put a code in but again there were no instructions. The owner managed to get the key without causing the box damage therefore she incurred no cost to fix however won’t return the deposit due to stress. This is not a reason to keep our deposit it is not our fault she provided no instructions and it’s not our fault she was at work that day and had to drive to hours to fix. She’s since mentioned it was unclean due to toothpaste in the bathroom and rubbish in the bin, however also confirmed this is not a reason she would keep our deposit. We are so disappointed what a shame to end our holiday in this way.

“As per the prior review I have photo evidence my husband advised that the key lock box was tricky to access upon arrival, to be blamed for lack of instruction from the owner and a clearly dodgy box is just unfair, to not receive our deposit back based on their error and upset at there own inconvenience.”

In terms of leaving it unclean, well again we have photo evidence that the owner confirmed that a dish in the sink or some rubbish in a bin was not the reason for not being refunded it was just that they had to travel to open the lock box (which they did do, without having to pay anyone to do) very disappointing stay

Loved sitting on the balcony soaking up the sun ,and the second toilet is a bonus when you have little ones .shirley only a message away and always happy to help .recomend this caravan we loved it and certainly be returning at some point .

2015 WILLERBY SEASONS Our caravan has Gas Central Heating, Double Glazing Veranda that has a gate that can be locked for extra security, grass area next to caravan for outdoor activities or relaxing. You can park your vehicle along side the end of caravan near road or in car park that is close by. There is a storage unit that you can excess with chairs, table, activities but please respect our neighbours’ caravans and use the larger areas on park for all ball games.

MAIN ROOM We have a L shaped sofa that stores some indoor activities that you are allowed to access; we ask that you replace any items used back under seating area before you leave. There is another another L shape sofa with dining table and two stools, there is an extra stool in main bedroom if required. The storage under this sofa is our private inventory so please respect and leave alone. There is a 32” Freeview TV with remote control, and separate DVD player with remote control with a wide selection of DVD’s is also available for you to enjoy, Wi-Fi router, 4 USB ports, Wi-Fi router, Electric Fire which has back lights for the relaxing evenings including a remote control. There is also a CD, Radio Player that has a Bluetooth option, large radiator with thermostat control, boiler cupboard, mop and brush, hoover, sweeping brush, dustpan and brush. KITCHEN Fully equipped with pans, oven dishes and trays, cutlery, plates, bowls, egg cups, wine and tall glasses, Gas Oven (when using the grill, you must leave the door fully open) Air Fryer, Toaster, Kettle, Microwave, washing up bowl, sink drainer, Fridge Freezer, Ironing Board with Iron, Fire Extinguisher. Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
