The property

Our modern open-lounge 3-bedroom static caravan is located in the popular Beach Rise area, a prime location for the lake house complex with all outside rides and outdoor sports activities, and close to the main entrance and within easy walking distance of the other main amenities. It sleeps 6/8 comfortably in 3 bedrooms. One double bedroom with a double bed with a mattress topper added for extra comfort with a TV.

Two twin bedrooms with two single beds, which can be pushed together for extra space and comfort.

A wall-mounted TV in one twin bedroom and also a pull-out double bed with a mattress topper added for extra comfort, located in the living room. The living room has a large L-shaped sofa for everyone to relax.

There is also a 43-inch smart TV wall-mounted with Freeview channels. If any guests would like to take their own Sky Q box, we have a Sky dish fitted to the caravan. DVD, Blu-ray player with lots of DVDs to choose from. Children's colouring books and a selection of games to choose from. Free personal Wi-Fi is included (subject to network coverage). Large deck area via French doors at the front of the caravan with a table and chairs provided to enjoy the sunny days. There is an electric fire in the living room area.

The living room area has a large, spacious, bright, open-plan area for relaxing. Dining area with a dining table and four chairs. The fitted kitchen has ample worktops and cupboards with plenty of storage, a built-in gas oven and hob, an integrated fridge freezer,and also an integrated microwave, toaster, kettle, air fryer.Full crockery, cutlery and dining essentials are provided.

The family bathroom has a shower, toilet and hand basin; also, there is a second toilet and wash basin in the master bedroom. Gas and electricity are included in the price of your holiday. Travel cot available (please bring your own bedding). A high chair is also available.

Bed guard is also available.

We also provide fresh bedding for all guests.

The beds are all made up before your arrival. You will need to bring your own towels and tea towels. Gas central heating to all rooms in the caravan and double-glazed. Outside, there is a large decking area to the front of the caravan via French doors with outside seating and lovely views. Private parking is available next to the caravan. This is a strictly no smoking/vaping holiday home, please. STRICTLY NO smoking/vaping in the decking area. STRICTLY NO fires or barbecues on the decking or around the caravan. Passes are not included in the prices but can be purchased from Haven or online before your arrival.

Passes not included. Please note no electric vehicles are to be charged at the caravan due to Haven policy. Arrival & departure: Check-in time is from 3pm on your arrival date. We have a key safe where we keep the keys.

The code is texted to you before you arrive.

This saves time waiting at the main reception; head straight to the caravan. Check-out time is before 10.30am, please. Our changeover days are Mondays and Fridays. The breaks we offer are 3/4/7 NIGHTS AVAILABLE. Other breaks are on request. Mon to Fri. Fri to Mon. We also offer a 7/10/14-day breaks discount on breaks over 7 days.

We offer a pet-friendly holiday home to well-behaved animals.

Please note only small animals are allowed; please max 2. Please note no dogs are to be left unattended in the caravan or allowed in the bedrooms. Please note a £100 security bond is payable to cover any breakages and damages, and when the caravan has been checked, your refund will be processed through the website 5 days after check-out. The balance is to be paid 6 weeks before your holiday, please. Children welcome. Non-family groups welcome. No stag or hen party groups are allowed due to park policy; no under-21 groups are allowed.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.

Scarborough 7.7 miles; Bridlington 10.5 miles.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
