    Communication with the owner was fantastic. I went with my 2 teenage boys and dog. The weather was amazing and we spent most of our time on the small and quiet beach just a 5 min walk away. Site facilities were good, small shop, pub and swimming pool. The caravan was clean and everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for such a lovely stay ????

The property

Goldfinch 22 is a 2 bedroom caravan based on the popular holiday village. This is a large caravan measuring 37ft x 12ft yet with only 2 bedrooms ensuring spacious accommodation for smaller families. Perfect for couples in the lovely double room with a "Jack & Jill" ensuite shower room and a twin room with 2 small single beds.

Both of our bedrooms have brand-new mattresses and come with bedding and bed linen as standard. There is also a separate toilet and sink in the main corridor. The spacious living room is open plan with the dining area and kitchen, a Smart TV is provided and the kitchen is fully fitted with oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Enjoy the excellent Park Holidays Site facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, entertainment centre, and Fishing Lake and direct acess to the beautiful sandy beach. Please note that entertainment passes are not included as standard and can be purchased separately at reception.

Kirkby Lonsdale 3 miles.

Tunstall is a small village in the Lune Valley, just three miles from Kirkby Lonsdale and the ‘famous’ Devils Bridge, made up of traditional stone built dwellings, a Grade I listed Church and the Lunesdale Arms, a renowned bar and fine restaurant. Located just a mile away, The Highwayman Inn is one of a group of fine dining pubs owned by the renowned chef Nigel Haworth. Nearby Kirkby Lonsdale is situated in the heart of the Lune Valley, mid-way between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Thursday is market day, a perfect opportunity for visitors to explore the variety of distinctive shops in the town, or the many 17th and 18th century buildings which still stand. This part of the Lune Valley was a favourite haunt of the artist Turner, and was made famous by Ruskin - his "view" of the valley is still spectacular. The quiet country lanes are ideal for exploring by car, bike, or even horse. There are three golf courses nearby, as well as tennis, riding, fishing and a variety of riverside and country walks, making the area an ideal location for a break, whatever time of year.
