“We have just left after spending the bank holiday weekend here.”

Caravan is lovely and clean with everything (and I mean everything) you may need during your stay. Perfect location for the entertainment venue and beach a 5 minute walk. Already looking to book again for next year. We booked lots of activities for my 5 year old which he thoroughly enjoyed. Jim provided lots of info to assist during our stay. Nothing was missed out. “This caravan and the wonderful owners will forever be apart of our story!”

We booked to go straight from the registry office after getting married and my goodness what a wonderful welcome we had. The owners went above and beyond and made our day so special. The caravan facilities are second to none with everything we needed. Jim and Julie were nothing but amazing answering any questions we had and providing such helpful information during our stay. We will 100% be back ASAP if I had my way. The best home from home place we have been.

“Wow, everything you could possibly need has been provided, even for the pooch too.”

Caravan was clean, comfy beds. Shower was amazing. This is a home from home caravan, so relaxing. . Parking spot( which is definitely needed)One minute away from the shop, beach entrance and the complex. . Couldn't have asked for a better caravan or position. Owners were quick to answer any questions. Thankyou so much Jim and Julie. Would give 20 points for value for money if I could. !

Air fryer, games, WiFi, cleaning products to name a few. Caravan was in a perfect condition. 2 mins to shop, clubhouse. But not noisy. Perfect touch when we arrived, choclate & flowers., owners always in contact and everything well organised. Will definitely book this caravan again... 5 ***** x

“Second time staying in Jim & Julie's caravan.”

They have made some excellent improvements since last year in terms of the furnishings and it has given the caravan a real home from home experience. The caravan's facilities are way above any I have stayed in, Plenty of toys, (both for kids and dogs) DVD's, buckets and spades/beach chairs, kitchen equipment, good quality duvets etc and a good WIFI. The caravan smelt clean and welcoming on arrival and is a good location to the shop/entertainment area. I have already booked 3 separate weeks for next year during the school holidays for the grandkids. Anyone that books with Jim and Julie will not be disappointed.

“We stayed in July 2024 and it was a lovely caravan.”

It was only a 2 minute walk to the main facilities and the same distance to the entrance to the beach. It was very clean and modern and they provide stuff that isn’t even included in the description such as beach chairs, DVDs and toys for kids, and some toiletries. The owners were really lovely to communicate with over email too. The next time we travel to Yorkshire to stay we’ll definitely be emailing the owners first!

“Our lovely caravan had everything we needed and more for a self catering stay,the location,children's toys and dvds were a bonus as well as the WiFi which we didn't have last year in a different van.”

The beds were comfy and the shower was fab. It was homely and comfy for our weeks stay. The welcome flowers,big bowl of fruit,sweets and chocolate was a lovely surprise, great communication from the hosts from start to finish,if we visited Reighton Sands again in the future,I wouldn't hesitate in booking this caravan again ????

Home from home, everything you need is there. I went to get away from it all and it was bliss, so peaceful & calming. I booked the day I was going, nothing was too much trouble. “Well what can I say other than, what a gem of a caravan.”

It has everything needed to make the holiday ideal, particularly with children. There are games, DVDs, beach equipment and everything else needed. Location on the site is good, even happy for grandchildren to nip to the shop and not get lost. Although we didn't take our pooch with us this time, there were dog toys as well. Good communication from Jim and Julie. Will definitely return.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
