“We had such a lovely break in Agnes’ caravan.”

Agnes was so helpful from beginning to end. The caravan was beautiful and in a perfect location with an amazing sea view, it was just what we needed. Agnes also prepared a lovely welcome pack for us to enjoy. We are going to miss having coffee and croissants on the veranda. Thank you so much Agnes

“We had a lovely holiday in Agnes's caravan which is in an absolutely perfect front line position overlooking the sea.”

The weather was changeable but when it wasn't raining it was great to sit on the decking watching the sea birds. The caravan was very clean, comfortable, homely and equipped with everything you could possibly need on holiday and a lot more beside. There was even a washing machine although we didn't use it. It felt well loved by the owner. We were envious of the water pressure which was amazing compared to ours at home! It was good to be able to park right next to the van - very useful for loading and unloading. There was a generous welcome pack and lots of games and amusements for children and families. We did a fair bit of touring round and it was a delight to return each day to such a super place. We didn't use the site facilities but it was immaculately kept. From the first contact Agnes couldn't have been more helpful both with our accommodation dates and other issues. We hope to return at some point in the future. Many thanks Agnes.

The view from the caravan is stunning and the decks so large, kids played there a lot. The sites great for youngsters too and the food at the restaurant was lovely. “We have just returned from a weeks holiday at this caravan and had the best time.”

We are already looking at dates for going back next year! Caravan was spotless, perfect location with the best views, and a 5 minute walk to the centre (but still in a very quiet area). I was nervous about booking through this website and not knowing the owner (as normally book through Haven) but I had nothing to worry about. Met the owner whilst leaving and she is lovely - she was so friendly through the whole booking process, and left an amazing amount of goodies for us (including wine, and drawing books for the kids). There is nothing you could fault about the caravan - would fully recommend.

HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE 5 DAYS AT CARAVAN AGNES COULD NOT HAVE DONE ANYTHING MORE FOR US IF SHE TRIED WELCOME PACK LEFT FOR US ALSO LOADS OF EXTRAS SUCH AS CLEANING PRODUCTS THE VIEW FROM THE VERANDA ARE AMAZING THINK I SAT MOST OF MY TIME THERE JUST CHILLING OUT WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE & EVERYONE FAMILIES OR COUPLES THANKS AGAIN AGNES

“We stayed in this beautiful caravan at the end of may.”

It really is home from home. Agnes has thought of everything that you could possibly need for a perfect holiday. The varander has great views out to sea. Its huge, with plenty of seating. The lounge has lovely reclining sofas, they was so comfy, as was the bed. The shower was really powerful. Everything was spotlessly clean. We didnt use any facilities on site, but all looked very well run. All in all, we had a great time, and would definitely return again one day.

“We have never come across such a wonderful and helpful host as we found in Agnes as she had thought of everything to make us welcome and enjoy our stay.”

We were not expecting to be able to use the facilities on site due to Covid but Agnes went out of her way to organise enertainment suitable for our 11 year old son. Even on arrival she had left a huge welcome pack. We spent alot of the time enjoying the peace and quiet watching the world go by on the huge veranda, and were delighted to watch the dolphins go past at high tide. The caravan itself is fully equipped and very comfotable including the bed so a good night sleep was had . Do not be worried about cleanliness this was the cleanest caravan we have ever been in, and again Agnes leaves the appropriate cleaning materials to keep it that way during your stay. We have no hessitation recommending the caravan to our friends and family and certainly will try and return.

We were welcomed by Agnes and shown around. The caravan was spotless and in a great position overlooking the sea. Ideal for spotting dolphins! The caravan has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Flowers and a welcome pack were also left for us by Agnes. We really did not want to come home. Hopefully we will be back soon!

“We loved staying in this caravan.”

The van is just beautiful and so well loved and cared for. Everything you need is left for you to use. Agnes left a lovely welcome pack and could not have did anymore for us. The view is stunning and the area quiet. We spent a lot of time on the large deck and Kitty loved the sandpit. Even though we did not use any park facilities we found loads to do and we where lucky the weather was great so we spent a lot of time on the beach and used the beach rugs and picnic basket Agnes leaves in van, which was really great. We have already booked for next July and we cannot wait to have another fantastic holiday. Thanks so much Agnes for all your help with things and for letting us use your lovely home from home van, see you soon xx

“We had a fantastic week in Agnes's caravan.”

She gave us a great welcome when we arrived, and had even left a welcome pack for us which included boxes of cereal, biscuits, crisps, cakes and a bottle of wine. This was totally unexpected but a lovely touch. The caravan was spotlessly clean and Agnes had provided everything we needed during our stay, including toiletries. There was even a washing machine, although we didn't use it. The view is amazing, we even spotted dolphins and a seal! We highly recommend this caravan and we will definitely be back. Aly and Helen.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
