The property

Our privately owned caravan is a clean, bright and comfortable home from home, with free Wi-Fi and full, secure wrap-around decking.

It has a large and well-equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area.

The comfy and relaxing lounge has a 43" smart TV, DVD player and DVDs, books and games.

There is a full gas oven and hob, along with all the utensils, cutlery, dishes and pots and pans that you might need.

You will also find a large fridge freezer, microwave oven, air fryer, kettle, toaster and iron, along with some basics- tea, coffee, sugar, etc. The 3 bedrooms and bed settee will sleep 8 at a push!

The double bedroom has an en-suite toilet, hair dryer and smart TV.

The two other bedrooms are twins.

All bedrooms have lovely mood lighting.

We will provide bed linen and make up the beds for your arrival, but please bring your own towels.

The main bathroom has a great walk-in shower. Sliding doors lead onto the decking.

There is a large grassy area to the front, ideal for kids to play, and woodland to the back.

The access road is a looped cul de sac, so there are very few cars and you can relax in quiet surroundings.

This is a Haven site which brings with it all the security, park maintenance, delicious dining and top class entertainment which you would expect.

Though situated in a quiet part of the holiday park, The Belfry is not far from the main complex with all its attractions.

The two swimming pools and water slides are great.

The Showbar has many live acts for kids and adults alike.

There's the prize Bingo and the usual arcades.

The Boatie bar and restaurant serve lovely food and drink.

Also on site are a well-stocked mini supermarket, a launderette, a very good fish & chip shop and a golf course and fishing lake.

If that's not enough, there are many organised outdoor activities, particularly for kids.

Entertainment passes are available from Haven and are not included in the caravan price. If you're looking for fresh air and outdoor life, the surrounding area has plenty of walks and shorelines to explore.

East Lothian is full of interest, and with Edinburgh on your doorstep, the world is your oyster.

There is a good and frequent bus service to the centre of our Capital City, from outside the gates.

Trains are also available from nearby stations.

Shops, restaurants and pubs are not far away.

Groups are welcome, though rowdy stag/hen parties are not!

Well-behaved dogs are also welcome, a maximum of two.

Hope to see you soon!

About the location

No village

Chatsworth 1 mile; Bakewell 5 miles.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
