“A beautiful caravan that felt like home straight away.”

Everything you could need fridge, kettle, roaster, microwave and oven. Owners have been there through every step of our holiday if we had queries, with swift helpful replies. When we arrived there were throws and doggy treats waiting for the puppers, as well as tea coffee etc for us. Lovely pitch, with decking private enough to enjoy some quiet time, yet still in the sun for those sunbathing afternoons, and lovely to see the trains coming past right next to you and just a short walk to the ...

We can't wait to book our next stay ????

The Bay Cafe on site will serve food and drinks, and the laundrette is on site, tokens are available from the reception, also the Smugglers pub is just up the road that does a lovely roast.

The Driftwood Cafe by the railway station does a great breakfast.

Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round and sea fishing over the seafront wall is popular.

The little blue anchor station /West Somerset Railway, runs steam/diesel trains to Minehead, Watchet, Dunster, Williton, Bishops Lydeard.

There are special events on through the season . Also there is usually a coast rider that comes into the park in the summer,.

About the location

No village

Chatsworth 1 mile; Bakewell 5 miles.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
