“We checked in to glamping pod 15 on arrival at 4pm.”

Unpacked everything and on first look was pleased with the accommodation. Just as we finished unpacking, a staff member arrived to inform us we were in the wrong lodge and it should have been number 9. She apologised and did offer to help re-pack our things to which we declined. By the time we'd unpacked (again) in the right lodge, it was 6pm. We noticed the main skylight window was broken and called for help as it was very warm. Two members of staff came out to poke it and confirmed it was broken, with one even saying he'd never seen that kind of window before. As it was getting late, I asked for someone to come the following day we were quite annoyed at this point. A chap arrived mid-morning and also confirmed it was broken so he'd order a new one which wouldn't arrive until we'd gone. This was quite annoying as it was the main window for the lodge. There is no extractor in the kitchen so the smell of food couldn't really escape unless the door was wide open (we had a dog so wasn't happy with muddy feet coming in and out, in leaving it open). On this same day (day 2), we cooked breakfast and everything tripped out. My partner realised that we couldn't watch TV with the air fryer being on due to the power output being so low. Every time we cooked, we sat in silence it was a bit strange and not expected. We were very eager to use the hot tub but only managed to around 3-4 times during the whole stay. The sign showing "testing in progress" was on the tub from the Wednesday evening until we checked out Friday morning. I did get fed up of checking the sign and ignored it in the end. We had visits around 3-4 times per day and was told it was too high chorine, then too low, then too much PH. It was then half emptied during our stay and filled back up with cold water. The staff were really friendly and chatty but we weren't able to use the hot tub 50% of the time which was frustrating. On the day before we left we couldn't find any general bins on the park map. I message the chat function of the park and was told to ring reception and ask. I explained it was 8pm and they were closed but was told they were just holiday staff and didn't know but would make sure the map was updated. I then walked around in evening trying to find a bin area. Overall, the break was a break from work which I wanted but we couldn't use the hob tub 50% of the time, which is why I booked it. The staff were very responsive to our problems even if they couldn't help, at least they responded. They were all friendly and happy but I don't think we'd return based on the overall experience.
