    “Sandy Toes no.”

7 was a great base - we really enjoyed Newquay and found it to be a perfect location as we drove around Cornwall, nothing was further than 1 hr drive when we ventured out! We visited Lands end, Trebah gardens, Eden project and Tintagel castle, as well as visiting the beautiful beaches of Newquay! The caravan itself was fine, we could tell it was a dog friendly one as it did have a doggy smell, it was clean in the areas we used but could see it was a bit unclean around the edges and we didn’t ...

The caravan itself was fine, we could tell it was a dog friendly one as it did have a doggy smell, it was clean in the areas we used but could see it was a bit unclean around the edges and we didn’t have a hoover. One of the sofas was a bit uncomfortable as had a huge dip but none of this affected us as we didn’t stay in very long at all other then to sleep. The beds were fine, I find all caravan beds uncomfortable/springy mattresses so nothing we didn’t expect. The towels were provided but were really small, so I’d take my own next time. Again didn’t affect us, just personal preference. We didn’t use the pools, we only visited ‘the venue’ once for one drink, wasn’t really for us, the children were bored and the arcades were tiny, we wanted to change their pound coins for 2ps for the machines but they’d run out. My little girl put a pound in a machine and it didn’t work but lost her money and the person working there said there was nothing they can do about it… we didn’t go back but there’s lots to do in the town of Newquay itself! Handy if you have a car otherwise it’s a taxi or a long walk up the hill and then you’d probably need to get a bus into Newquay… unsure about this as we had a car. We loved that everywhere we went we were allowed our dog with us! Literally, shops, bars, beaches…. It was brilliant for our family.
