“We just had the best week ever in Cornwall.”
Obviously helped that we had a heatwave and not an ounce of rain but everything about this stay was perfect! This caravan is new, stylish, spacious and well equipped. Dawn has been a pleasure to deal with from my first day of enquiry. The caravan is a stones throw from what felt like our own private beach. I would recommend a bbq on the beach. We bought a disposable from Tesco but the shop sell them too. We ate in a few nights on the balcony, it was heavenly. It was so quiet and safe. We slept with our windows wide open every night. Just love Cornwall and this holiday park. We paid for wifi (£5) for the week at the clubhouse but it does only work in the clubhouse and around that area, as phone reception is def patchy but it was nice to have a break from my phone. My 12 yr old son went to the clubhouse with his friend of an evening and they throughly enjoyed themselves. Who knew it would be open until 1am. When I went to check on them one night (they all just hang out at the park with new friends they’ve made), the music took me right back to the 90’s and I ended up staying. It was busy and lots of families and parents were there. The laundrette on site (£3 for 30 mins) & the shop is fabulous. It has everything! I bought fresh bread and local produce every morning inc sausages and bacon and butter, it was literally the best English breakfast we have had. I’m sad to be home but will def be back to Dawns caravan as it was just perfect. I would recommend the beach food huts on the beach, keep walking on the beach and you’ll see them. The pizzas and smoothies, all of it is extremely tasty. I’d recommend Trevose light house - walking there from the caravan of an evening. Turn right out of the park and just keep walking, the sunset is truly stunning. Fish and chips from St Merryn. You may have to queue but it’s worth it. All the beaches are fab. Polzeath is also a great beach to surf on and is a great day out. Tesco supermarket is in Padstow and Padstow itself is lush. You will have the best time here.
