    Helpful owner. Lovely quiet location. Inside very well maintained. Lots of extras from dvds to family board games. Highchair and travel cot. Really happy our visit thanks.The washer/dryer was very helpful!

The property

This lodge sits in an elevated position on Chestnut Forest, the most sought-after location on the park. Decking area with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. There are a flight of steps to enter the property decking from the parking area that is big enough for 2 cars. The whole decking area is fully enclosed and gated, which makes it ideal for small children. On entering the lodge, there is an open-plan lounge/dining area with a fully fitted modern kitchen. The dining table seats 6 people. In the kitchen area, you will find: Fridge / Freezer 5 ring gas hob Double oven Microwave Washer/dryer Dishwasher All utensils and pots & pans The lounge area has comfortable sofas, an electric fireplace, and large-screen TV There is free wi-fi onsite through the park Bedrooms: One King-sized bedroom with a dressing area and en-suite shower room 2 x Twin bedded rooms with wardrobes There are small tv's in each bedroom There is a main shower room All bed linen and towels are provided. It is only a 5-minute walk to the local Nisa shop onsite and the fishing lakes. This is the perfect location for exploring Cornwall; there are lots of excellent local pubs for dinner, and Padstow is only a 20-minute drive away. If you are a golf enthusiast, there are many really good courses within 40 minutes. Our favourite is Trevose; the views are stunning, the course amazing, and they serve top-quality food all day. Newquay is the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting eleven beaches and over seven miles of golden sand, three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a beachlovers and watersports paradise. The town, with its zoo, sea life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. The quaint harbour and fishing village of Padstow is just 14 miles away, while Truro, with its museums, cathedral, restaurants, and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be reached within a short drive. Picturesque St Ives and the Tate St Ives gallery is just a train ride away. In fact, because nothing in Cornwall is far from Newquay, it’s the perfect touring base.
