“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liskey Hill.”

The caravan was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for an easy stay. The view over Perranporth bay was beautiful. The owner was very helpful and a great communicator. I would highly rate this place to stay. The only issue we had was that the caravan was off of the main driveway and there was no hard standing to park outside. Due to time of year it was extremely muddy getting too and from the caravan.

Thank you for your lovely feedback and apolgies for the delay in responding (there have been technical issues on the portal and for some reason, the message wouldn't send!). We're happy you enjoyed your stay. The site can get a bit muddy, but unfortunately, it's against the park rules to slab around the area, so we can't rectify that situation. This is why we don't tend to rent out during the winter period. We do hope it didn't impact you stay too much. Property Owner

The property

Come and enjoy your holiday in Cornwall for a family holiday or a peaceful escape.

The caravan is situated on Liskey hill Holiday Park, close to the town of Perranporth, with beautiful views of the world-famous surfing Perranporth Beach.

No need to pay car parking fees, as the town can be reached with a short walk (though be prepared to walk up hill on your return).

The caravan: It is a fully equipped open-plan caravan with 3 bedrooms: double, single & twin (which can be made into a double).

It also benefits from having an additional toilet/washroom, in addition to the main shower room - a bonus for a family! Perranporth has plenty of shops, places to eat, pubs and bars, including Wetherspoons (The Green Parrot) and two Indian restaurants, Chinese & Thai take-aways, 3 fish & chip shops, Pizza take away and Italian restaurant as well as many more places to eat, including the Watering Hole beach bar and the Seiners Arms at the beach!

If you don't wish to cook breakfast, there are cafes and the local butcher who supply breakfast rolls, etc, not to mention Liskey Hill (Tuesday & Saturday) for a breakfast butty! Unfortunately, we don't supply Linen or towels, so guests will need to bring their own quilt covers, sheets & towels.

Pets are considered and a fee will be payable per animal.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.

About the location

PERRANPORTH

Newquay 9 miles; Truro 9.5 miles.

Perranporth, a beautiful Cornish coastal town, lies in the heart of Poldark Country, the setting for the novels of Winston Graham who lived in Perranporth in the 1930s. Perranporth offers plenty of traditional pubs and shops, plus a classic bucket-and-spade beach that is lifeguarded in summer, overlooked by craggy rocks and a wonderful coastal path. Once known as the source of the finest tin, the community still retains reminders of the rich heritage with abandoned pump houses, mine shafts and workers’ cottages. The local Blue Hills Museum and Perranzabuloe Folk Museum are both well worth a visit to understand the fascinating history of this coastal area. Further afield are the miles of sandy beaches at Crantock and Holywell Bay, and the breathtaking coastal walks around St Agnes, much of it owned by the National Trust. A perfect holiday base in Cornwall, with an abundance of activities to suit everyone.
