“I don’t normally leave reviews, but I nearly didn’t book this caravan because of lack of reviews, so leaving in case it helps anyone else who worries like I do!”
Lovely clean caravan. Exactly at the photos on here represent. The seating area and garden area at the back were lovely to sit in on an evening when shattered from the beach! Nice and spacious. I was also pleasantly surprised by the size of the wardrobes. I’m used to the size of a tiny box wardrobe in the twin room of the caravans I’ve stayed in before but this was a nice double wardrobe with a couple of big drawers. And a large wardrobe in the double room too.
Had the best holiday. The park is so lovely. You can’t beat it for location, with all the best Cornish beaches so close. Quiet park (suits us!) with a lovely restaurant and great food. We went a few times.
I guess because it’s an owners only site, everyone was ultra friendly. All the staff wave and say hello too.
Some parts of the park are dated, but you can tell they’re improving it year on year (they were telling us that an old shower unit was coming down this winter).
You drive through St Merryn Holiday Park to get to this site. That has a Nisa supermarket and ‘The Venue’. Reasonable prices. We didn’t go in the Venue, but I think everyone goes in it, not just St Merryn Park owners. It said it has live entertainment on Saturdays and Sundays. We passed on a walk on Wednesday (August 2023) and it had the most amazing live band on. Very impressed.
All in all, highly recommend. (Even if you didn’t like anything at the site, you’re on holiday in Cornwall, what’s not to love?!)
