Although communication with the Ower prior to arriving was good, when we arrived at the van it clearly had not been cleaned for a long time. There was stagnant water in the kettle, spiders, both dead and alive and webs in the kitchen cupboards, mould in the bedrooms on the cupboard doors, around the mirrors, on the walls. The bedroom drawers were dirty, the lights above the beds had thick dirt on them, there was a mouldy spare pillow in the wardrobe of the main bedroom. The kitchen/living room ...

There was stagnant water in the kettle, spiders, both dead and alive and webs in the kitchen cupboards, mould in the bedrooms on the cupboard doors, around the mirrors, on the walls. The bedroom drawers were dirty, the lights above the beds had thick dirt on them, there was a mouldy spare pillow in the wardrobe of the main bedroom. The kitchen/living room floor needed sweeping, there was dog hair and dust all over the fireplace which had not been cleaned. In one of the bedrooms there was a hole in the base of the wardrobe where someone had stuffed an empty hairspray can, some tissue and a child's toy, covered in dust so it had been there for some time. The bathroom cabinet needed cleaning before we could use it. There was dirty cutlery in the drawers: dried food left on a fork! There were 2 saucepans, one very small and one large which were dirty and needed scrubbing before use. The decking rail was wobbly and there were screws sticking out of the decking itself. It is safe to say that due to us spending the first 2 hours of our holiday cleaning our accommodation, the van is in much better condition than when we arrived! We considered alternative accommodation but due to school holidays, there was nothing available at such short notice.
Such a shame as the site was brilliant and great location.

I am so very sorry the caravan was not cleaned to a satisfactory condition I will be taking all necessary steps to ensure that this will not happen again.
