The property

Located at the top of Kingfisher Lake we have a spacious lakeside 2-bedroom holiday home "Sunnyside Lodge". This holiday home is cheerful even on a gloomy day, it has a vibrant interior follows the theme of a 1930’s beach hut. This charming holiday home is suitable for all ages, ideal for a small family, the perfect place to spend quality time together, it is also pet friendly! The outside green is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor games. Sunnyside lodge is spacious inside, it has an open plan layout, the kitchen is well equipped and neatly arranged.

The triangular dining table with bench seating allows for a great view of the lake whilst dining.. There is a large L shaped sofa in the lounge, it has a flat screen TV and electric heater with flame effect.

The patio doors open out into the large decking area outside so you can enjoy the lake view and hopefully some sunshine.

The main bedroom has a double bed, has its own private ensuite facilities.

There is a separate modern shower room.

The second bedroom is a standard twin room. Bedlinen for all beds are provided as well as towels.

Towels must be kept inside, please bring your own towels for swimming. We also provide: Plates, Glasses, Cutlery and cooking utensils. A small welcome refreshment pack so you can have a tea or coffee and biscuits when you arrive. A starter cleaning pack A loo roll for each toilet Hand soaps Small shower gels Salt, Pepper and Oil Discount vouchers for use in the local area. We welcome well behaved dogs (max 2 per property) they must be kept on a lead at all times when not inside the lodge, and not allowed into the bedroom areas. Please add the dogs on during the booking process, we charge £30 per dog per stay. Passes to use the resort facilities are £66 per stay in total- we collect all guest info and payment for this after booking A security deposit of £200 will be authorised on your payment card on the day before arrival.

This is returned after checkout if no damage is found.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
