“We have just got back from a 3 day at the caravan.”

The caravan was lovely with everything you need and Chris was very helpful with communications and tips on the fishing. The site itself is in a lovely setting and was quite quiet considering it's school holidays. The three fishing lakes hold lots of fish and I had a couple of decent carp out of the top lake one evening. There is a pub on site that serves food but unfortunately no shop on site , Bromyar is only a couple of miles away if you need anything . Visited Ledbury, Ross on Wye, Leominster and Ludlow , all less than an hour away. Lots of Tudor , Georgian and medieval buildings in all of the towns but Ludlow was my favourite. We hope to return in the future.

“A chill and unforgettable experience with Chris's caravan.”

The caravan itself is spotless clean, and equipped with everything you need. The pub that Chris recommended is great, food is delicious and view is pretty good. Chris is a super attentive host, he is always reachable and doing his best to make sure we are alright. Definitely coming back again in future.

“We just had a very relaxing few days in the caravan, it was very comfortable and warm.”

The shower is great. The whole site is very peaceful. Communication with the owner was super easy. The whole site is very peaceful and very well located for visiting the Malverns and the Shropshire hills. We ate at the on-site pub on one night, there was live music, there was also a long wait for food, but it was really good food and from the terrace there are beautiful views across the valley. It’s also next to an adventure playground, so daughter entertained.

“We had a fantastic four days away over the early May bank holiday.”

Caravan was lovely and clean and had all we needed to enjoy our time away, including the firestick and Alexa. Shower was fantastic, powerful and hot. Hubby made the most of his fishing licence and caught a variety of fish from the smallest of the three fishing pools including roach and common carp. We ate out in the on-site restaurant one evening, due to the beautiful weather the food took 45 minutes but we were prewarning when ordering and we were more than happy to sit out in the beer garden looking out to the fields and countryside and lap up the sunshine whilst waiting. Communication with Chris was easy and we would return again in future.

This caravan is beautiful, overlooking the Malvern Hills. 1 main fixed double bedroom with en suite toilet and wash basin plus 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds.

1 main bathroom with shower toilet and basin. In the large lounge, 1 single pull-out folding bed and a double inflatable bed (available on request) Fully central heated via the gas boiler (mains not bottled) and electric fire in the lounge. Gas oven, fridge freezer, air fryer, microwave in kitchen with a 6 seater dining table. Personal wi-fi large screen TV with Amazon firestick fitted. Situated on-site with an uninterrupted view from the front lounge and a very short walk to the onsite pub/restaurant. Dog washing facilities are adjacent to the caravan as is a parking area, extra toilets and showers.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
