    “Lovely and clean caravan with all you would need to enjoy your holiday, our children loved the books, games and dvds.”

    . enjoyed the sea views from the terrace and the delicious scones on arrival, owner was brilliant and communicated perfectly, ladram bay itself is a beautiful park with a lovely atmosphere staff were friendly and so much for the children to do.. lovely walks .. don’t hesitate to book!

The property

Hello, my name is Katie and I am so pleased you are considering my caravan at Ladram Bay Holiday Park in Devon, as your holiday home rental.

D28 is situated at the popular Monks View.

It is a 35’ x 12’ Victory Coaster; a bright and modern caravan with a lovely sea view from the open plan living area.

It’s also only a short walk from Ladram Bay's private beach and amenities.

On arrival you will find a complimentary Devonshire cream tea, sourced from local produce, and your beds will all be made with fresh linen.

As you would expect, I ensure your holiday home is kept spotless.

The lounge contains an open gas fire, a 43” Freeview TV and DVD.

A pull-out bed is concealed in the large L-shaped sofa.

The dining room area has a table and four chairs, plus 2 additional folding chairs.

Gas, electric and water is provided within the cost of the hire.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a four ring gas hob and full size gas oven, with grill and extractor.

There is also a microwave, toaster and fridge freezer.

The master bedroom contains a double bed, wardrobe, good storage cupboards and drawers.

It also includes a 32” Freeview TV and DVD.

There is access from this room to the shower and WC.

The second bedroom has twin beds, and again contains adequate storage for clothes and other items requiring drawers.

There is a second WC opposite this second bedroom.

All beds have freshly laundered mattress protectors.

Outside you will find a wooden table on a paved patio and a small grassed area.

This area has a fence and access gate, ensuring that young children have a degree of security.

Venturing off site, there are many places worth visiting locally, including: Sidmouth (approximately 3 miles away).

It is also the most local beach where surfing may be carried out.

It is very close to the renowned 'Donkey Sanctuary' (free entry) which the children always enjoy and is well worth a visit.

Budleigh Salterton, also about 3 miles from Ladram Bay, where you will find an interesting museum and a popular bird sanctuary.

Each year it hosts various events, such as a literary festival, an art show, sports day, local theatre productions and a food festival.

Exmouth, a larger town and worthy of a visit, particularly with young children on a wet day as it has a great indoor children's play centre.

There’s also 10 pin bowling, a multiplex cinema in the town centre, and a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and coffee bars.

Let’s not forget the sandy beach. Devon's County city of Exeter is about 15 miles away from Ladram Bay Holiday Park, and as you would expect contains museums, galleries, a wonderful cathedral and many other places of interest, including various shopping areas.

The picturesque town of Budleigh Salterton is nestled in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the East Devon
Jurassic Coast at the mouth of the River Otter. From here you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the coast or stop off in one of the local cafes or pubs. The River Otter forms an area of grazing marsh and reed bed, which is of great significance for migratory birds and is therefore an excellent place for birdwatching. The coastal town is renowned for its preserved natural beauty, including a two-mile pebble beach for those wishing to take a dip in the crystal-clear water. The high street boasts an array of charming cafes, independent shops, pubs and a museum, or sit on a bench on the promenade to soak in the scenery.
