“Thank you for another wonderful week at your caravan.”

A lovely welcome basket including treats for my dog. Felt right at home straight away. Clean and fresh as before. Well equipped and friendly owner. Definitely returning if we can.

“This caravan was a pleasure to stay at, would highly recommend a stay here to anyone.”

All the creature comforts of home are included in the caravan which made our stay fantastic. All I needed to bring was our duvet, pillow cases and towels. During our stay the weather was on the cooler side but the caravan was always a comfortable temperature, which made for some lovely evenings. The park itself is clean and quiet and it with easy reach of some great walks through the surrounding countryside with our dogs. This is the first time I have been to this part of Devon and are looking forward to a repeat visit. Miss E. Darcy

“We stayed in this caravan as a family,myself partner and young child and Wow!”

! Fantastic, solo clean and well equipped, a real home from home. So comfortable,and well located for the pool, shop and bar in the evenings.The site is very quiet at night and beautifully maintained, we enjoyed lots of days out at the beaches and also explored the Tarka Trail straight from the caravan. We have already booked again, can't wait !! Richard hogg

The property

The caravan is modern and spacious with double glazing and central heating which means it can be used all year round, the living area has "L shaped" seating with plenty of room for six.

There is a Freeview T.V.

with DVD player with a selection of DVD's, books and board games for stay-in days , in addition to the central heating there is a built in electric fire. The kitchen is fully equipped with 4 burner stove,oven and grill, large fridge freezer, microwave and toaster also a full range of cooking utensils, pots, pans etc. The large bedroom has a double bed and plenty of wardrobes and drawers, the smaller bedroom has 2 singles and a wardrobe/drawers, there is also a pull out double bed in living area, there are duvets and pillows for all the beds and all bed linen included, you will have to bring your own towels as we do not supply these. The bathroom has a large shower with heated towel rail, sink and toilet.

There is also a cot and highchair if needed. We welcome free of charge up to two dogs, but not on the furniture/beds please(Dog bowls provided).

Outside there is an enclosed decking area with seating and a table for six, and a bike store should you wish to bring your own bikes. WiFi can be purchased from the shop on site.

No smoking in the caravan only on the decking please. 7 night minimum stay

Westward Ho! 10.7 miles; Barnstaple 12.4 miles.

Great Torrington is an unspoilt town built on high ground above the River Torridge, and is a fifteen minute drive from the spectacular North Devon coast at Westward Ho! Another leading tourist attraction is Dartington Crystal where visitors can see craftsmen blowing and shaping glass, follow the history of glassmaking and buy some beautiful pieces. The town has a good selection of individual shops, a friendly atmosphere, and some good inns. About a mile from Great Torrington is the spectacular RHS Rosemoor Gardens with arboretum and herbaceous borders in a breathtaking setting by the River Torridge. There are many villages to visit on the North Devon coast including picturesque Clovelly built on a steep hillside above the sea, beautiful Appledore with it’s colourful fishermen’s cottages, famous Lynton and Lynmouth with the cliff-top railway, and Hartland Point with its breathtaking sea and coastal views. The diverse beaches of North Devon are not far away including; Westward Ho!, Instow, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde, to name a few. Lundy Island, lying just 10 miles off the coast of North Devon is home to a fascinating array of birds and seals, and can be reached on Lundy's own boat from Bideford Quay. Great Torrington is a quiet, convenient base from which to explore North Devon, the Tarka Trail and the rolling Devon landscape.
