“Thank you so much Bryan for a perfect week in your beautiful lodge.”

We have been visiting Challaborough Bay for 10 years and this is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. The lodge is just perfect, it is absolutely spotless and has everything you need for a really comfortable stay. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen is really well equipped. Out little girl loved the selection of games and DVD's which were very handy in the rain! The lodge is located in a perfect spot with beautiful views of the sea, a really peaceful spot but still only a short walk down to the beach. Bryan couldn't be more helpful and welcoming, we cannot wait to return next year.

Can’t fault it .So many extras that don’t normally come with hired accommodation. Games , dvds and beach toys. Along with food and cleaning products. It is so spacious including 2 showers. Perfect location with a sea view. My grandchildren just had a wonderful week as did I. Bryan is the perfect host. Would recommend to anyone and would love to return.

“This was our second stay in as many years in Bryan's lodge.”

It's in the most perfect location, as it's far enough away from the main bustle of the park but not too far from the beach. The added extras such as the windbreaker, the cool bag and other beach accessories was really welcome. The board games and puzzle books were good to have - I've managed to do a few more of the Su-Doku from the year before! We also had many games of Trivial Pursuit. It's also great having a washing machine in the lodge. Bedrooms are really spacious and comfortable. Also the little extras such as tea, coffee etc are great to have, as are the washing up liquid and hand soaps. We are already counting down to next year's visit.

“We booked last minute for a week away at the beach.”

Bry was amazing and the communication was brilliant, even when we had a slight change of plan. As soon as we arrived at the lodge we knew we had made the right choice. It is huge and complete with all the extra touches that really make a difference. It was extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. The beer and wine were much appreciated after the the M5! The games, dvds and beach toys were well used by the boys and we didn't end up buying passes to the site as the beach and and lodge provided us with plenty to do. Wifi was great and worked well with my amazon firestick for cosy evenings, The position of the lodge is great with views over the bay and you feel quite separate from the rest of the park, despite being a very short walk to the beach. A wonderful, relaxed break. Thank you.

“The stay at this lodge was amazing.”

A lovely lodge, clean and well looked after. Had everything we needed could not fault it at all. Bryan has thought of everything. This is our second time at this lodge and look forward to returning. Bryan is the perfect host and caters to our every need nothing is too much trouble. He is quick to reply if we had any questions. Bryan went above and beyond, met us when we arrived ensuring everything was in order. This holiday was special to us this time as it was my husbands 60th birthday and our first holiday with our first grandchild. “I booked to stay in Hill top 1 lodge with my 4 teenage children after regularly booking and staying in caravans.”

We fancied a change and trying a lodge. We were not disappointed Bryan was a fantastic host who had literally been very imformative and guided us through the booking as I normally book directly through pardean. I cannot thank Bryan enough for his outstanding service. The lodge itself was stunning every thing we had hoped for and more. Bryan has really gone above and beyond for his guests he literally has thought of everything needed for a great holiday. We truly did not want for anything and their is nothing we as a family could recommend to improve our stay. This holiday meant so much to us as it was to celebrate my parents 61st anniversary and possibly our last holiday together due to my father's declining health. Bryan very thoughtfully left them a bouquet of flowers which they loved. Some wonderful memories made. Myself and children will definitely return again to your wonderful lodge. “First off- the host is the most attentive and helpful person you could wish for, which made the whole experience easy and enjoyable from start to finish.”

The lodge is modern, fresh and very spacious so there are all the luxuries you would need, such as two bathrooms/ walk in wardrobe/ very large kitchen/ separate dining area. The standard of accommodation is high, with lots of finishing touches to make the experience top notch such as hot chocolate/ drinks/bottle of wine/ milk and beer in the fridge on arrival. The lodge itself is in the best spot on the park, with commanding views over the sea and all the calm quietness that comes from being at the rear of the park away from noise. I had quiet afternoons reading on the deck in the sunshine- just magical. I will definitely be returning with my family for another relaxing retreat , thank you Bryan!

On arrival Bryan greeted us and showed us around he's lovely lodge. We really appreciate all the little extra's that were left for us ie. milk,tea,coffee, biscuits etc also a bottle of wine & 2 cans of lager which got us off to a good start. The lodge itself is very spacious and comfortable (especially the main bed) all very clean and tidy with a nice homely feel.Bryan has everything there that you might need and more. The location of the lodge is in a perfect position with wonderful views all around and only a short walk to the beach. Thank you Bryan, your lodge made it a perfect stay.

We booked this week as a rest after a week with the family in north Devon and it couldn’t have been better. The lodge is fabulous with all the amenities and more. The view looking down the valley is breathtaking with a mixture of farmland on one side and the sea out in front. Communication with Bryan is first class paving the way for a stress free break. Every situation has been considered, there's even an 'emergency box', I needed a screwdriver, and there it was in the box! The lodge is stunning, and so comfortable! I've been coming to Chally for years, and this is the most comfortable I've been. Bryan is a thoughtful and considerate host, nothing is too much trouble, I wish I could rate this Lodge and Bryan more, but 5* will have to do. See you next year Bryan :D .

Would give more then 5 stars if i could. Great accommodation, clean and well equipped. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, beds are lovely and comfy. Living area has proper sofas and a great size dining table. Kitchen has everything needed, even a washing machine and dishwasher. It really is a home from home. My daughter is 5 and loves all the games, colouring and dvds that are provided and was never bored whilst indoors. The location on site is perfect, nice and quiet with a sea view but still close enough to everything the site offers. As a host Bryan goes above and beyond ! He really takes the time to ensure your stay is perfect and i can't thank him enough. We will be back!!

Bryan's lodge is amazing - he has thought of everything, with lots of little extras that made our stay extra special. The lodge is so comfortable and is a real home from home. The location was perfect for us - in a beautiful area, a stone's throw from the beach on sunny days and access to the coastal path where we had some beautiful walks on duller days. The park suited us as we like quiet holidays but it had all the amenities we needed. 5 stars for the lodge, 5 stars for the location and 5 stars for Bryan!

Beautiful lodge with all the amenities laid out with 3 good sized bedrooms & 2 lovely showers. Nicely set out kitchen opens onto huge lounge and dining area. All is Beautifully furnished and everything you would ever need and more is provided. Bryan, the owner, goes to great lengths to make sure your stay goes seamlessly from before and during your stay. The lodge is perfectly positioned in an elevated position with lovely views to the sea. A short stroll to the beach opens up to a lovely sandy beach. A safe, secure parking space rounds it off to give you peace of mind. Thoroughly recommended, well done Bryan.

The best i have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Rooms such a great size, comfy beds, lovely living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, supplies of cleaning bits, toilet roll and other extras was a perfect addition. Love how the little touches really make this place feel like a home from home. Plenty of supplies to keep children busy, colouring, games and puzzles (my 4 year old daughter had a great time). Bryan left a bottle of fizz for my Mum as i had mentioned it was her birthday while staying, which was such a lovely surprise. Communication from booking, arrival and departure was outstanding, in the lodge there is a folder full of information of places to eat, activities, local attractions etc and also details of the site, which was very helpful. I can't recommend enough! Already looking at booking again next year.

The lodge was very clean and so spacious. The view from the decking is amazing, I miss my morning cups of tea looking out to sea. The location of the lodge is perfect, just a 5 min walk to the entertainment facilities and the beach but far enough away for it to be nice and quiet and peaceful. We loved the lodge and Challaborough Bay so much that we have already booked with Bryan for next summer. Three very happy customers.

The busy little town of Kingsbridge lies at the head of a marine estuary in the attractive South Hams area of South Devon. Kingsbridge is home to a range of lovely independent shops and coffee shops, as well as a 3-screen cinema and an award-winning pub. During the summer season there are estuary excursions by ferry to Salcombe which lies on the banks of the Kingsbridge Estuary, making it one of the prettiest towns in South Devon. Salcombe is famous for its outstanding coastal views, rolling countryside, and is a watersports paradise for kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding and powerboating. It is packed with boutique shops, high street brands and independent producers, restaurants serving freshly caught seafood, and Salcombe Gin and Ice cream! Kingsbridge is perfectly located as a base to enjoy the abundant wildlife in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), which also forms part of the South Devon Heritage Coast. Visitors can take a walk along the Kingsbridge Quay, wander through the narrow alleys off Fore Street or visit the Shambles in Totnes, an Elizabethan market arcade. Around the South Hams area there are picturesque ports, such as Dartmouth and Salcombe, together with sandy beaches at Blackpool Sands near Stoke Fleming and the two sandy beaches at Thurlestone. There are a host of small attractive villages in South Hams offering interesting pubs, local farm produce shops and pretty rows of cottages, plus further afield the waterfront city of Plymouth is a vibrant centre, housing the National Marine Aquarium, historic Barbican Quay and plenty of night life, including theatres, restaurants and bars. Kingsbridge can be easily reached by train to Totnes and then a local bus service which will take you to Kingsbridge town centre.
