“We had a fantastic stay at the holiday home near Durdle Door.”

The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short walk from the cliffs and the views were stunning, especially in the morning. The home was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated Kathy the home owner who responded to us swiftly when we needed help.

The property

This has been our family's favourite holiday destination for over 40 years, and, until now, we've always rented caravans privately from other owners several times a year.

Now, finally, we've bought our own caravan, and are excited to share it with you now that we've kitted it out!

We know what makes a caravan relaxing and comfortable for a family holiday, and hope you enjoy our caravan as much as we do.

Our 2018 ABI Cove has a Master bedroom with a King-size bed and en-suite toilet, a Twin room with two single beds, and a small double sofa bed to comfortably sleep one person in the living area.

There is a further main bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, and sleeping quarters are separated from the living area by a door for complete privacy.

Each bedroom has plenty of storage space for clothes with built-in furniture, bedside tables etc.

There is a spacious living room with two luxurious sofas, a dining table, TV, and a fully equipped, modern kitchen with all you need to cook delicious meals after a day of exploring the beautiful coast.

There is decking built around the side and front of the caravan, so that you can open the sliding doors in the living room and enjoy a drink as you watch the sunset on the patio area outside, or watch your little ones play on the grassy area in the centre of our cul-de-sac.

There is also a gated decking area to the side of the caravan with a more private seating area for up to 8, where you can enjoy alfresco dining with the assurance that children can't wander off. The caravan is situated in the centre of the caravan park, just a few rows in from the sea-view facing caravans on the edge of the park, on a cul-de-sac of caravans which circle around a large peaceful grassy area, and there is a brand new children's play area (Lulworth Castle Play Park) about a 1 min walk from us.

We can provide a map of where we are situated exactly upon request.

The caravan has central heating throughout, we can provide all bed linen (if you select this option), so all you need to bring is your own bath towels, food and yourselves.

Extra info: We offer a 10% discount on stays of 7 nights or more :) The cleaning fee of £65 includes the caravan being cleaned before your stay, as well as fresh hand towels, tea towels and oven gloves for you; if you wish for us to make up your beds with fresh bed linen this can be done at an additional cost of £30 in total for as many beds as are needed (including the sofa bed if requested).

Otherwise, you're welcome to bring your own linen if you prefer.

These costs go directly to our lovely cleaner Suzy who runs her own small independent business locally.

Once your booking has been accepted and you have paid a deposit, you will be able to log into your ukcaravans account and view all the info you'll need for your stay under 'uploaded guest documents', including a map, code for the key box, and a list of what is included in the caravan and what to bring.

*Please note that the park is now open March- December each year, and only closed for the months of January and February.

About the location

WAREHAM

Corfe Castle 5 miles; Poole 9 miles; Swanage 11 miles;

Wareham, affectionately known as the ‘Gateway to the Purbecks’ is an ancient Dorset waterside market town. Situated between the River Frome and quaintly named River Piddle, its charming riverside location makes the town a popular holiday destination. Dating back to Saxon times, the town was once surrounded by walls, and became an important port with boats bringing supplies up the River Frome from nearby Poole harbour. Today, the river provides a great playground, you can hire a boat from the attractive quayside and chug your way down the stream, take one of the regular organised boat trips, browse the colourful Saturday market or simply just enjoy an ice cream or a drink relaxing on the Quayside. Whilst seasonally there are also numerous popular events taking place beside the river. A short drive takes you to the Arne peninsula jutting out into Poole Harbour, a designated RSPB reserve, where you can stroll down to the water’s edge, taking in glimpses of the impressive bird population and often viewing some of the resident deer. The friendly seaside resort of Swanage is also easily accessible, where you can experience a traditional family-friendly day out on the beach, or take the coastal path and stop off for refreshment at Durlston Country Park. A real treat is to drive to nearby Corfe Castle and take the vintage steam railway to Swanage. Wareham offers visitors a super Dorset holiday destination at anytime of the year.
