The property

The BK Bluebird/Sheraton has a large lounge and fully equipped kitchen with a full size fridge/ freezer, slim line dishwasher, gas oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the necessary glassware, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.

in fact every thing you need to cook a family meal is at hand.

There is plenty of storage space in the 2 bedrooms, both of which have their own bathrooms, each with a spacious shower, wash-basin, toilet and vanity mirror.

There is a 42” smart TV and DVD player in the lounge.

Guests can enjoy unlimited fast Wi-Fi access.

French doors open on to a deck area. The 5-star Chesil Beach Holiday Park is located in Wyke Regis, which is between Weymouth and Portland.

As our guest you will have access to the great park facilities, utilities and Wi-Fi are included and there is parking for 2 vehicles right next to the holiday home.

There is an electric car charging point on site. Situated at the start of the Chesil Causeway, from the comfort of the lounge and deck you can enjoy stunning views of Portland Bay, Chesil Beach, and the island of Portland.

Chesil and Smallmouth beaches are a short 5 minute walk away.

Chesil hosts a world famous nature reserve and is a favourite for bird watchers, walkers, water sports enthusiasts and recreational fishers.

Smallmouth is a quiet sandy beach, with views across Portland Bay, ideal for water sports or sunbathing. Weymouth and Portland are only a 5 minute drive (or 40 minute walk) away or the Weymouth - Portland bus runs every 15 minutes and the bus stop is immediately outside the holiday park.

Portland, and its famous Portland Bill Lighthouse,Tout Quarry Nature Reserve and Sculpture Park has many scenic walkways with fantastic views of Chesil, and is one of Portland's most popular attractions.

A trip to Weymouth with its Blue Flag winning sandy beach, lively harbourside and esplanade guarantees you a great day out.

There are many excellent harbour-side restaurants, bars, pubs and take-aways in and around Weymouth. The park is on the South West Coast Path and the energetic can walk (or cycle) the safe and scenic Rodwell Trail into Weymouth.

The trail is part of National Cycle Route 26, on which you can cycle the 15 miles from Portland through Weymouth and onto Dorchester (the county town) without needing to touch main roads. Being on the stunning Jurassic Coast, there are many beautiful coastal hotspots to explore including: ? Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. ? Weymouth, with Blue Flag beaches, Nothe Fort, harbour and marina. ?

Radipole Lake nature reserve, with wetlands for bird watching.

? Portland, with it's museum, Church Ope cove and bird Observatory. ? Abbotsbury Swannery. ?

Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens. ? West Bay, also known by many as Broadchurch. ?

Charmouth, a great spot for fossil hunting. ? Lyme Regis with its Cobb. ? Bridport, a busy market town with a fantastic antiques quarter and the Palmer Brewery, which have tours. ? Dorchester (Hardy’s ‘Casterbridge’), with the Cerne Giant and Maiden Castle close by. The historic houses and gardens of Athelhampton and Mapperton are only a short drive away.

Our BK Bluebird/Sheraton holiday home is a clean, well-equipped, warm, comfortable and spacious residential standard caravan, maintained in excellent condition. Bedding provided is: 2 pillows per person / 1 king size duvet / 2 single duvets.

Please note you will need to bring your own duvet covers, sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels. We provide a bag with essentials for your sole use during your stay, which include hand wash, bin bags, toilet roll, dish cloths and dishwasher tablets. The caravan is professionally cleaned before and after your stay.

All bedding is changed after each let and for hygiene reasons we use wipe down pillows. PLEASE NOTE: For your own safety and that of the holiday home, charging of e-scooters is strictly prohibited inside the holiday home. We are looking for full week Fri - Fri / Sat-Sat bookings.

In any case, if you do make a booking we recommend you consider holiday cancellation Insurance. Please note the caravan has no wheel chair/ mobility scooter access.

A short drive takes you to Portland Harbour, and the rugged “Isle” of Portland, linked to Weymouth by the dramatic Chesil Beach. Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s “Casterbridge”, only 7 miles away, or take a journey along the scenic coastal road and call in at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. Alternatively, just head down to West Bay - the views of the stunning Dorset Heritage Coastline are not to be missed!
