“Stayed in Jane's caravan and loved it.”

The photos don't really do it justice. There's not much to do on the park itself but the caravan is fantastic. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Jane sent very clear instructions for check in and everything worked fine. The caravan is fitted out with pretty much everything you would need for a stay there.

The property

This caravan has a king-sized bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a sofa bed, so you and five of your favourite people have plenty of room to spread yourselves out.

There is an en suite toilet and sink in the king-sized bedroom and a separate shower room with sink and toilet. The kitchen comes fully fitted with a fridge freezer, microwave and gas hob and oven, along with all the crockery and cutlery you could need, making cooking easy and convenient so you'll have plenty of options whether you're making sandwiches to take to the beach or preparing an evening meal unless you choose to eat out of course! The large sofa is perfect for relaxing after a day out (or a day in, for that matter)and the private decking boasts 180* panoramic views.

Many of our guests enjoy sipping a glass of wine or two on the veranda and gathering round the maps and leaflets to plan their days out.

There is also a garden on one side. If you think it can't get better than that-- think again!

We struck gold with our position in the park, too.

We're close enough to all the important amenities, such as the swimming pool, bar and coffee lounge, but we haven't had to compromise on the stunning views out towards the Bay and Ballard Down. The town is just a 15-minute walk away with its sandy beach and many eateries, and Durlston Country Park is nearby with endless wildlife and outdoor fun. Looking for a winter getaway? We've got you covered.

As the season turns colder, there are even more reasons to escape the every day and treat yourself to some "vitamin sea". Gaze out to the ocean with a hot chocolate or turn the early sunsets into winter adventures with the children.

The van is perfect for cosy evenings and quality time with loved ones: choose a DVD and settle down in front of the TV after cooking up a hearty roast. With excellent double glazing and central heating, this van will not disappoint- whatever the weather.

About the location

SWANAGE

Wareham 9.7 miles; Poole 20 miles.

The small, family-friendly seaside resort of Swanage is situated at the eastern end of Dorset’s famous Jurassic Coast, on the celebrated Isle of Purbeck and is probably best known for its wonderful, gently shelving golden sands. The little town offers visitors plenty of shops, good pubs and restaurants, some of which specialise in locally caught seafood, and is also well known for its annual jazz festival, which takes place each July. The attractive, Victorian wooden pier offers a great place for a stroll or try fishing, and often used a departure point for divers, it’s a wonderful place to watch the world pass by. The historic Swanage Railway has its terminus in the town and regular nostalgic steam engine trips take tourists for a picturesque 6-mile journey, chugging through lovely countryside to stop just beyond the romantic ruin of Corfe Castle. Nearby Durlston Country Park offers a lovely day out with spectacular coastal walks, dolphin spotting and wildlife watching, together with comfortable viewing points and a well-stocked cafe for a treat after all the fresh air. Take the short drive to Studland, which has one of the finest beaches in the country, surrounded by heathland, together with the regular chain ferry, which crosses the mouth of Poole Harbour to Sandbanks. This truly is a delightful holiday destination at any time of the year.
