“We had a lovely stay in this caravan.”

Great views, quality bed linen, soft towels, well equipped kitchen and nice homely touches. Fully enclosed garden made it safe for our dogs. A welcome pack on arrival with postcard from owner was a nice touch.

“We had a lovely week staying at Swanage Bay View, caravan was well equipped, comfortable and in a quiet area.”

Views are stunning and the weather was fantastic. Reasonable walking distance from town. Easy access to many locations, Weymouth, Studland, Poole, lovely boat trip to Poole, nice day out to the Tank museum. Love this area of Dorset, we keep coming back every few years. Thank you for the lovely accommodation.

“Another wonderful stay in this stunning spot.”

The weather was terrible while we were there but we still enjoyed our stay. The van has everything one needs and is spotless. The layout of the van works well and we love the decking and the little garden. There are some lovely treats and essentials on arrival and it’s such a thoughtful touch. The owner is lovely and always so receptive to any queries/questions you may have. We have stayed in lots of vans on this site and this one really is the gem in my opinion. We will definitely be back. Thank you again for a wonderful break

“A truly wonderful stay in 208.”

The most incredible views from all directions. So many luxury touches inside, from lovely bedding, towels and a thoughtful welcome pack of essentials. It was so peaceful. It really is the best spot on the park in my opinion. We loved every minute of our stay and will hopefully be able to visit this magical holiday home again.

The property

Brand new 2021 Willerby Brookwood van set on one of the best plots with stunning views over the coast and the beautiful Purbeck Hills too. Fully equipped van with large wall TV, all kitchen necessities and great attention paid to detail in the decor. Huge new decking area comprising two seating areas - the main area which has a table and chairs to seat 6 for meals overlooking both the bay and the hills and the second 'bistro' area comprising two rattan chairs and coffee table overlooking the garden and coast. Newly designed and enclosed garden with solar lighting and wind spinner. Please ensure you clear up after your dogs. I would be very grateful if you could water the plants during your stay. There is an outside tap with hose for this purpose and also for washing off muddy/wet dogs!

There is a planter filled with various herbs which you are welcome to sue in your cooking. Please refer to the booklet in the van for all information about heating, the boiler, the various appliances, as well as many suggested places to visit. A few basics may be found in the van, such as tea, coffee & sugars; salt, pepper & vinegar; cling film & tin foil; a small selection of flavorings.

The small, family-friendly seaside resort of Swanage is situated at the eastern end of Dorset’s famous Jurassic Coast, on the celebrated Isle of Purbeck and is probably best known for its wonderful, gently shelving golden sands. The little town offers visitors plenty of shops, good pubs and restaurants, some of which specialise in locally caught seafood, and is also well known for its annual jazz festival, which takes place each July. The attractive, Victorian wooden pier offers a great place for a stroll or try fishing, and often used a departure point for divers, it’s a wonderful place to watch the world pass by. The historic Swanage Railway has its terminus in the town and regular nostalgic steam engine trips take tourists for a picturesque 6-mile journey, chugging through lovely countryside to stop just beyond the romantic ruin of Corfe Castle. Nearby Durlston Country Park offers a lovely day out with spectacular coastal walks, dolphin spotting and wildlife watching, together with comfortable viewing points and a well-stocked cafe for a treat after all the fresh air. Take the short drive to Studland, which has one of the finest beaches in the country, surrounded by heathland, together with the regular chain ferry, which crosses the mouth of Poole Harbour to Sandbanks. This truly is a delightful holiday destination at any time of the year.
