“Please take note !”

! We took our daughter her husband & baby & our son & his partner for our 1st little trip away together with baby we chose the lodge as it looked so inviting and well appointed we were not disappointed on arrival .Kara even let us enter an hour early which was great unfortunately the floor was quite dirty with only a dirty mop in the cupboard so I text Kara and told her as I felt she needed to take it up with her cleaners but we set to and cleaned the floor when didn’t hear back took up the ...

! We took our daughter her husband & baby & our son & his partner for our 1st little trip away together with baby we chose the lodge as it looked so inviting and well appointed we were not disappointed on arrival .Kara even let us enter an hour early which was great unfortunately the floor was quite dirty with only a dirty mop in the cupboard so I text Kara and told her as I felt she needed to take it up with her cleaners but we set to and cleaned the floor when didn’t hear back took up the rug and swept a big pile of sand/dirt underneath anyway the rest of the lodge was fine had everything you could need and very home from home very little cupboard space as lots of things left under sink and cupboards by previous guests which I suppose would come in handy and kind of people to leave but doesn’t allow much space for the self catering items lots in the lodge ie glasses quite bespoke so you wouldn’t want to break a glass as it would be hard to replace we were out most of the time as we had great weather we had fish and chip takeaway 1st night then cold buffet next night and ate out at the venue on our last night we did not use the oven the dishwasher or the washing machine didn’t even take products to do so we just washed up our bits in the sink I was up early on our last morning as Check out was 10am we paid extra for bed linen and I even asked Kara did she want me to strip beds ! She said no we left the lodge very clean as we are all a bit ocd ! Left ice in freezer for next guests loo roll kitchen roll etc the cleaner would not have had a hard job that’s for sure ! We left the hi chair ( provided) clean and in cupboard where found we left the travel cot ( provided) in its bag where it was put for us in a bedroom we took our own mattress a small buggy was left on the decking we didn’t request it didn’t use it and left it where we found it I text owner to say what a lovely time we had 5 days later I had a message from uk caravans to say the owner had kept our £100 bond saying we had broken her dishwasher ! I couldn’t believe what I was reading we didn’t even look in the dishwasher never mind use it I asked for her to provide proof and to check the other possibilities ie past guests / cleaners/ laundry people this has caused me and my family such stress and sleepless nights but Kara was not at all understanding and was not prepared to do a proper investigation or show proof having spoken to a solicitor I know there is no case against us but the accusation and the upset this has caused never mind about her taking £100 from us for something we did not do has been too much for me to take further I really don’t want anyone else to have to go through what we have hence my very lengthy review I don’t think I would ever go away on a break like this again it cost over £900 for 3 nights including the bond the owner has unjustly taken from us

“Just stayed at Kara's "home from home" at the weekend.”

All I can say is "WOW". This place is beautiful and comfortable. It is so spacious everywhere. Beds were extremely comfy and the bathrooms were great. The outside space was also very large with plenty of seating to enjoy the fabulous views. There are magazines to read on the table and even a box full of toys for the children to play with. There was everything you needed here - Kara had thought of virtually everything, hence why I called it "home from home". We was absolutely delighted with it and I hope anyone who books to stay there will enjoy it just as much as we all did. Kara is also great at coming back to you should you have any questions. “Even before we arrived to the lodge we were super excited as we fell in love with the images shared on the site, to our delight the pictures were modest as the actual place looked even brighter than the photos and the view was amazing.”

The 3 bedrooms were all very spacious and each room had more than enough hangers to move everything out of suitcases. (We are international visitors and were in the UK for 23 days so we had lots). the kitchen is very welcoming and our friends that visited were all in awe with the place. The Terrace is so much larger than what you would expect from a caravan park and on those sunny days they were a delight. Kara is an amazing host, i hope to meet her one day. Her customer service deserves a 10 Star. But as with any review, i believe feedback is important for improvement, The only few things i would have hoped to have readily for us on arrival which would have made the stay 5/5 on all categories is the following: 1. Toilet paper. As we were all busting to use the loo after 4 hours journey it was disappointing that not a single a paper roll was available on the premises. 2. Few pods for the dishwasher would have been nice or at least a sponge for the dish washing would have been great as who travels with a sponge lol! 3. a kitchen towel to dry the plates would have been convenient, we had to use one of the rented towels, not a huge deal but as it has a vibe for a home it would have been nice. As you see the feedback is really not a deal breaker in anyway. In general my husband, my 15 years old son, 8 years old daughter and my self had an outstanding stay. Loved every minute and that week was the best week of our 23 days holiday.

“What a beautiful lodge!”

So spacious, homely and comfortable. It's in a fantastic location on the park. It was quiet with fabulous sea views. The large outside veranda was so relaxing with ample outside furniture which was of a very high quality. Great to have 3 spacious bedrooms with excellent quality mattresses. Great communication from Kara, always responded very quickly to questions and queries. We all had a fabulous holiday and wouldn't hesitate book again. Thanks Kara ????

Hi thanks for stopping to look at our lodge, Kailani we hope you like it as much as we do. This is our family “get away” We’ve been coming to Rockley Park for many years, and it was a dream come true to finally own our own little escape, that we share with our children and grandchildren. We hope you find it home from home. We have invested in good quality mattresses, as there’s nothing worse than a bad nights sleep on your holiday..

(too many bad mattress experiences ) there are fans in each bedroom and central heating throughout.

We are set back three rows back on the stunning harbour view, being on an elevated position we have a stunning sea views and the evening sunset is one not to be missed. Access to the lodge is via a ramp, which makes it ideal for a buggy or wheelchair, although unfortunately we don’t have the door width internally (door widths can be supplied) to accommodate wheelchairs. Stunning sea views three rows back from the sea luxury accommodation. 3 bedroom lodge Sleeps 6 We except 1 dog Newly refurbished throughout. Large open plan living / dinning /kitchen Dinning table with seating for 6 Over sized sofa (seats 4) and 2 comfy armchairs Tv with Freeview and Netflix compatible (will need own log in details) DAB Radio Well equipped kitchen Pots, pans, air fryer, slow cooker, utensils. cleaning basket Fridge freezer Wine cooler Utility room with washer dryer, vacuum , iron ironing board, highchair, booster cushions.
