“When we booked I looked at a different caravan to what we got not sure how this happened we booked I thought was sunset view as I see the pictures , I didn’t see the caravan until we got there , the owner sent details he was helpful as when we got there it had either been broken into and beds slept in etc, had to ring owner and explained what happened he said cleaners went in on the Monday , we had to wait another hour and the cleaners came back had to clean again they couldn’t believe it , they think that someone got in for the week it got sorted but inconvenient for us , also a shock as it wasn’t what we booked , we have stayed here quite a lot , thought staff needed more training felt they was a bit rude not helpful in pizza place think has gone down hill , have to pay for passes no one bothered to ask to see them , waste of money , but we love Poole so enjoyed that , caravan was nice after being cleaned .”

Also at the pizza place no one wanted to help do our order said staff was on a break , you had a girl drawing on a pizza box who worked there think someone needs to sort that out the only staff member who helped had to get away from making the pizzas to serve us , he was the only helpful one the rest were rude don’t think we’re be going back to rockley park

About the location

No village

Chatsworth 1 mile; Bakewell 5 miles.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
