The property

The holiday home is situated on the Kent Coast, near to Rochester, surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Kent Estuary.

There are several gorgeous walks that start from the park which will take you along the famous coastline, the marshes, alongside the on-site lake and by local conservation areas.

The nearby Fenn Bell Zoo is well worth a visit as it is a notable conservation project supporting rescued animals as well as the RSBP nature reserve which is home to the UK’s largest Heronry.

Slough Fort is sited next to the park and there are any number of pretty villages dotted across the Hoo Peninsular with country pubs that serve great food and provide a warm welcome. If you prefer to eat on-site you will find a brand-new Wetherspoon pub: the London Stone.

Additionally, you will find a Burger King, Cook’s Fish and Chips and Papa John’s pizza and you can stock up at the on-site mini mart if you prefer to eat in.

There is a club house for drinks (the Marina Bar) with sports coverage snacks and entertainment, The Box bar in the grounds and the Yacht Club for waterside drinks. There are plenty of activities.

In spring 2026, the park opens its brand-new indoor pool with family slide, and there is crazy golf, playgrounds and a bark-yard for four-legged friends.

There is also football, creative and outdoor ranger sessions for children of all ages.

For thrill seekers, there is the NERF training camp, climbing walls, ariel adventures bungee trampolines and junior segways to name but a few.

And if you are in need some down-time don’t forget the fishing lake (booking and a permit required). Please note that you will need to apply for the park for passes to the entertainment and activities as this is not included in the holiday home booking and gives visitors flexibility on costs.

Everyone has access to the restaurants and playgrounds.

Sorry no smoking

About the location

ROCHESTER, KENT

Maidstone 8.9 miles; Dartford 15.1 miles; Canterbury 31.4 miles.

Rochester, Kent is a characterful riverside town where medieval heritage and everyday convenience sit comfortably side by side. Dominated by its imposing Norman castle and the magnificent Rochester Cathedral, the town offers plenty to explore, from the cobbled High Street lined with independent shops and cafés to the Guildhall Museum, which charts centuries of local history. Fans of Dickens will enjoy spotting locations linked to the author, who lived and wrote here. For day-to-day needs, visitors will find supermarkets, convenience stores, and chemists dotted around the centre, making it easy to pick up essentials. Beyond the town, you’re well placed to discover the wider Medway area: stroll through historic Chatham Dockyard, enjoy river views at Strood, or venture further afield to Maidstone for shopping and riverside walks. Whether you’re after culture, scenery, or simple convenience, Rochester makes a rewarding base for exploring this corner of Kent.
