Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you felt the caravan was in need of maintenance. We do, however, wish you had raised these concerns with us during your stay, as we would have been more than happy to address them and provide any missing cutlery or resolve any issues with the furniture where possible. We are particularly disappointed to see the bed described as “dangerous”, as this was not reported to us at any point during the stay, meaning we were not given the opportunity to inspect or rectify the issue. We will of course have it checked as part of our maintenance process. We have a maintenance person attend the caravan regularly to check items such as beds, furniture and appliances. On this occasion, our maintenance person attended at 11:10am on the day of your departure, but unfortunately could not gain access as the stated check-out time of 11:00am had passed and the caravan had not yet been vacated. Had we been made aware of the concerns during your stay, we could have investigated them at the time rather than only becoming aware of them through the review. We take genuine maintenance and safety concerns seriously and always want our guests to have a comfortable stay, so we would encourage guests to contact us promptly if anything is not as expected. This gives us the opportunity to put things right during their stay. For clarity, the caravan provides seating for the advertised number of guests, including a 3-seater sofa, an armchair and four dining chairs. The reviews on our social media page are glowing and each one is 5 stars, so please rest assured that this is not a reflection of how guests usually feel, and how we wish our little business to be portrayed.
