“My Mum and I stayed at this lodge, it was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and a complete asset to the owner.”

It was a home from home and we wanted for nothing. Christine, the owner, was so friendly and approachable, we would absolutely love to visit again one day. The Site is well equipped and close to many things.

“Just had a 4 day break in Tulip 1 What a fabulous lodge.”

Very clean. Tastefully furnished,spacious inside. With a choice of 3 outside seating areas on the wrap around verandah. A real home away from home. All needs had been catered for a hassle free break. From the first initial enquiry Christine was very helpful and accomadating and kept in contact. The lodge is in a peaceful cul-de-sac,but is close to the park amenities. Speaking as a person with mobility issues,the lodge & the park are very accessible. The park being very flat. The whole break was problem free,and a added bonus we had fantastic weather. We would not hesitate to book again. By 2pm on the day we got home our damage bond had been refunded to my bank account, very impressive. Once again thank you Christine & Martin.

“This lodge is the best we’ve ever stayed in by far.”

It feels like a home away from home with everything we would need. Even though it’s the summer holidays it was still such a peaceful location. There is so much to do in the area for families it makes it the ideal spot for us. The owners are very helpful and lovely to talk to. We were all so sad to leave, we will be back soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

“Great communication from Christine (owner) Lodge was in a great position close to amenities but nice and quiet.”

The lodge was beautifully presented. So many extras in the kitchen even an air fryer. The king size bed bed was so comfortable the two single beds were 3ft wide so much better than the usual caravan beds. An added bonus of a bath. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at TULIP 1 and can not wait to return

“** We just got back from a fantastic stay at Tulip lodge and we can’t recommend it enough!”

The plot was so quiet and peaceful, close to the facilities however very quite at night. We loved the decking area with the BBQ and solar lights—it really set a lovely for our evening meals. The beds were super comfy, and the lodge had everything we needed, making it feel like a true home away from home (Having Netflix and Sky is always good with the kids!) The kids had a blast with the evening entertainment and couldn’t get enough of the indoor pool and the big slide! Plus, we were lucky to have warm weather to enjoy the outdoor family pool as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be returning. We can’t wait to share this gem with our friends and family!

“A lovely stay with some positive and negatives!”

Positives: Host is very nice and on hand for anything you may need. Lodge is super clean and has everything you will need for your stay. The surrounding area has so much to do with the kids. Lovely outdoor pool Nightly entertainment which is good for young kinds. Wonderful forest walk access Negatives: Security concerns - I have never booked a holiday before and been told (on two occasions) I must close doors and windows when I’m going out - before I’ve even got there! As a 40 year old home owner who has been on many vacations over the years I found it strange. Upon booking I was called by the owner who told me a great deal about the lodge and asked if I minded the cameras being on outside from midnight to 6am - I didn’t mind really but again, I have never in my life known this before at a holiday home and it worried me about what we were going to find. In the guest book I saw they had been asking guests to also put an alarm on previously when going out… quite honestly It made me feel like the place had been broken into at some point which was driving the need for so much security. I appreciate this is the owners property and they are trying to protect it, but at the same time, when you’ve paid over £800 for a 5 night stay it isn’t fair to make a customer worry about security, simply put, had I known this was the case before paying I would not have booked. The lodge is next to the laundrette building and backs on to a tent and trailer park that is separate from Oakdene. We were charged £10 for not cleaning the bbq thoroughly enough, in fairness, my husband hadn’t cleaned it to the cleaners standard so we were happy to pay. But given we left the lodge super clean and tidy I just found it to be really picky so it goes down as a negative for us.

“A wonderful weeks stay in a very comfortable lodge.”

Communication with the host was superb. Amenities in the lodge are fantastic, just what you need for your holiday! The site itself is also great, especially for young children who made the most out the indoor and outdoor pools. There are also lots to do in the surrounding areas.

The lodge was amazing, loved that as well as a full-sized shower there was also a bath for our little one. Christine was brilliant, she went through everything with us before we arrived and although we didn't need to contact her for help, it was reassuring that if we did need to, she was only a phone call away. “We loved our stay from start to finish.”

Christine was fantastic, friendly and a great host. The caravan was gorgeous. Down a lovely quiet little cul-de-sac and a 2 minute walk from the entertainment, pool restaurant, arcade etc. Was like a home from home and we settled in right away. All the kitchen utensils, pots, pans etc. were available. Plenty of outside space for children to play on and loved the double driveway! Sitting on the front porch in the morning having a coffee while watching the sun come up listening to the birds was absolute bliss. Thanks for having us

“We enjoyed our weekend away in Tulip Lodge very much so.”

The location of the lodge on site is great as its set back a little and offers the privacy of the green space around the outside of the lodge to relax and sunbathe or relax with a coffee/bbq etc which is great. Inside is immaculate, lovely and clean which is what you most definitely want! The decor is lovely and really cosy, with all you need to hand including Netflix when you want to chill and watch a movie after a busy day. Pubs with yummy food are close by which is always great and the on site entertainment was good too. Would highly recommend a stay here, ticks the box for all whether it be for families, younger couples or older couples. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

“We stayed in Tulip 1 lodge for a week on October half term , well what a week we had!”

The lodge was beautiful, like a home from home, very cosy, modern and everything you could possibly need! Chris left the children some little treats which started off our stay just wonderfully! The beds were comfy and it was just a wonderful chilled out week. The owner Chris was in touch with me before our stay and if we needed anything during our stay we could contact her anytime. We shall certainly be back again. The site is well maintained lots for the kids to do and plenty of food options . Or you can just stay in your cosy lodge and order a takeaway! Definitely recommend 5 star!!!!!

Our Lodge is very spacious, clean,warm and cosy with a home from home feel.

We are just a short walk to all the Amenities.

It has a fully equipped kitchen, dish washer and washing machine. king-size bed with en-suite bath and separate shower. The 2nd bedroom has 2 full size single beds .Tv .free view.
