“We are regular guests at Seal Bay and this was our first time in Roger’s van.”

We were surprised at the reasonable cost considering it was the start of the Easter holidays. The van was very clean with beds made up on arrival and it was well equipped which made for a comfortable stay. The en suite was a bonus to save queuing for the toilet! Roger was very communicative and messaged with information in depth to make our stay even more enjoyable. The van was in a great location and only 5 minutes walk to the Embassy. Thank you Roger and Emma for having us as guests. Hopefully your van will be available for us next year!

“We have just had 10 nights stay in this lovely caravan.”

Roger was an amazing host and very helpful. When I couldn’t work the boiler he was on the phone straight away sorting the problem. On suite was an added bonus no queuing for the toliet!! ???? lovely size veranda with gate and seating ( not that we used it as it rained quite a lot!!) parking outside the caravan. Perfect location literally less than 5 minutes walk to the embassy. I would highly recommend Rogers caravan.

“The accommodation was lovely, nice, bright and spacious.”

It had everything needed for a comfortable stay and the bonus of the en suite was great for us with 4 older children. Also a separate fridge and freezer was extremely handy as caravans we have rented in the past have only had a small freezer space. Roger was very friendly and sent us lots of information and kept us up to date with everything we needed to know. Excellent communication. For saying we went over August bank holiday we were surprised at the cost of the van, it was brilliant value for money. Thankyou Roger for a pleasant stay and we look forward to booking again in the future.

“Had a lovely easter weekend break.”

The caravan was lovely and clean and Roger informed us as soon as his cleaner had finished that we could get in slightly earlier than the normal 4pm which was a big bonus and meant we could start our break sooner. The caravan is situated in a good position with only a short walk to the parks amenities and sea front. Park itself is lovely and facilities great from what we could tell, we used the bar,restaurants and amusements but didnt pay for the passes to access entertainment and swimming as for a weekend these were a little expensive but the site was really good for families. Communication from Roger was great with full details and map of where the caravan was situated on the site making finding it on arrival easy. Had no need to contact Roger whilst away but he was in touch straight after the end of the holiday to return our deposit. Would certainly recommend both park and Roger's caravan (in fact have given the details to friends already). Thank you Roger

) This is our first time booking with Roger but we've been coming to Selsey for almost 20 years. We've stayed in lots of different caravans over the years at different locations on West sands but I have to say Rogers caravan has to be one of the nicest I've stayed in. Booking was hassle free, communication with Roger was fantastic, the caravan was clean and ready for us on arrival and had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Will definitely be booking with Roger again. Highly recommend!

“Lovely 4 night stay in this caravan.”

The caravan was lovely and clean and in a great position on the site. Communication with the owner was amazing from the second we first enquired about this van throughout. The beds were comfy and there was a large fridge and large separate freezer ( a luxury that doesn't happen very often lol). The kids enjoyed playing the games, and the WiFi kept them quiet when we were in the van.

“I stayed in Roger and Emma's caravan for a week for the first time in June and only wished I had found it much sooner before!”

I could not wait to get back and so booked to go for a long Halloween weekend. The caravan is just the best - I put a lot of detail in my review of 21 June 2021 so please do read back to that. I can only reiterate what I said at that time in that the caravan is splendid - a real home from home. Lovely comfortable lounge and so nice with freestanding furniture and the décor. The kitchen is adequately equipped. The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. It has a gated veranda so is perfect if like me you have a furry friend who likes to scamper about or laze about watching the rabbits outside and the world go by generally - as indeed do I and there is nothing better than sitting on the veranda enjoying a nice drink and relaxing. Communication with Roger the owner is swift, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this and cannot wait to return them in May (which is way too long overdue but sadly the earliest I could get there). I am looking forward to another wonderful stay.

“Having stayed in June and October I decided I could not wait until next year to revisit and so booked a lovely one week stay in-between Christmas and the New Year period.”

As always the caravan was a welcome sight to my eyes - I wish I could just live in it full-time! It is just so lovely, so homely and in winter really cosy warm with the effective heating system. I just love it so much and cannot get enough stays in. Always a super comfortable night sleep. I have my dog with me and it is so lovely and appreciated that this is a pet friendly caravan. The caravan is perfectly situated. it is on a corner and well spaced so it feels very private unlike some caravan parks/areas where you are almost next to the window of the caravan next door. It is in a quiet location but close to stroll to the main complex/swimming pool/beach/dog walking area/nature reserve. There is everything in the caravan you would require and even has WiFi. for kids and adults, the Wi-Fi is 1st class, lots of information leaflets of things to do, places to go, on sight facilities, it is so comfortable, the beds are so clean and comfortable, home from home, the owners are so accommodating nothing is too much trouble, they are always available if you have any questions. Totally recommend booking this caravan and we will be returning as soon as we can. Thank you to the owners we have had a fantastic break once again .

“This date was the second time we have stayed at the van 714within three weeks.”

We spent two weekends once on our own and the second time with friends and their dogs. We felt very comfortable within the environment and there is a good selection of necessary equipment Eg vacuum cleaner, clothes airer, hairdryer and so on. A nice touch was a selection of glasses to drink out of rather than just tumblers There is plenty of storage and seating. Just a suggestion a small side table could be very useful. Otherwise a good spacious place to relax in. Thank you

A definite home from home, comfy sofa, large television and free wifi, plus a second toilet! No queuing for the bathroom…. On arrival the caravan was spotless and once exploring in cupboards, we found everything you could ever need, including iron and board, vacuum cleaner and hair dryer. Very spacious, there were only two of us…but would be great for a family and of course great for your dog as there is a gated veranda. We would definitely use Roger’s caravan when we next return to Selsey. Thanks for a great break.

“Just returned home from a stay in this truly lovely caravan.”

I chose this caravan based on the photos of it and more so, the excellent reviews. I can only reiterate what has been said previously. Communication with Roger was excellent from the outset. I arrived to a spotlessly clean and fresh smelling caravan. The decor, fixtures and fittings are beautiful - a real 'home from home'. There is a lovely comfortable sofa and a big comfy chair - so nice to have freestanding furniture as opposed to the usual bench style seating. Equally nice is the dining table and chairs. The kitchen is super with a good size oven and separate integrated fridge and freezer and microwave. All utensils and items you might need are there. The TV (with DVD) was a great size and the fire very stylish. There is also free WiFi. I travelled solo with my dog Buddy so just used the master bedroom which had a very comfy bed and an en-suite bathroom. I felt quite spoiled! There is also a good size main bathroom and a twin bedded room. The caravan has a veranda which catches the sun through to sunset. It was lovely to be able to have the door to the caravan open and know that Buddy would not escape. He enjoyed sunning himself and also watching with great interest all the rabbits that run around nearby. I enjoyed relaxing at the end of a busy day of walking etc, sitting on the veranda with a drink and watching the world go by. Just lovely. The caravan is perfectly located a short distance from the Embassy for the club, the swimming complex and the beach and in the other direction, the nature reserve. I have stayed in many caravans and this really is one of the best. I have booked to return later in the year and really look forward to staying again. Highly recommended. 10/10. “This was our first holiday this year due to the currant situation we have stayed in Roger and Emma caravan before and they are so welcoming and always there to help with any issue that arise during you stay this year they had upgraded a few things in the van such as carpet, sofa, chair, TV, lovely new picture, which was amazing to have it all looking so fantastic when we arrived the varenda had all been cleaned and the van look lovely in the sun shine all gleaming and shiny then when we went in it was so clean and lovely and was so perfect for our 2weeks holiday there is everything all you need is to buy you food and away you go for the most perfect relaxing stay you could wish for the cleaner done an amazing job cleaning before we arrived so made us feel at ease with the currant situation.”

Such a lovely caravan with everything you need in there . I would highly recommend to anyone ! Excellent communication before stay and throughout the stay . It’s that good that we have already booked for next year and we have previously been there before years ago but since then Roger has put all lovely new furnishings in there so it’s a beautiful & comfortable caravan couldn’t ask for anything more ! Although the site was different this year to the covid and restrictions and facilities was slightly less and different we had such a wonderful holiday . Lido is a definite hit and children loved that . Looking forward to my stay there next year ! Nice gesture Roger of the wipes and soaps and card lovely thing to do . “We returned home to Birmingham yesterday from Selsey.”

We had a lovely holiday a bit windy and only 1 rainy day in a fortnight so very lucky. The caravan was lovely and clean on our arrival and we were given a welcome pack of anti-bacterial handwashes, cleaning wipes and spray cleaner which was very thoughtful. The caravan was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The owner Roger went the extra mile during the lockdown period to keep us updated on our holiday. We loved the walk around West Point and Medmerry Nature Reserve with our little Jack Russell. Due to social distancing we did not use site facilities but it was very nice to spend the evenings in the caravan watching the children playing outside on their bikes and scooters etc. The camp security were patrolling all of the time. Thank you Roger, we had a super time , we would not hesitate to book with you again.

“Having stayed at West Sands for about ten years this was definitely the best caravan that we have stayed in.”

The location is perfect for either sitting on the veranda and relaxing or for visiting the nearby facilities. The caravan is extremely comfortable and it was a definite bonus to have sofas rather than bench seats! The bedrooms were more spacious than we have previously had and the bathrooms nicely done. The kitchen is well equipped and it was all very clean. Roger was extremely helpful with any enquiries. We will certainly go back!

The caravan is so well located, near to the Embassy club and the beautiful beach. The caravan itself was stunning. It was clean and so well equipped, everything you could need, a real home from home, and having 2 bedrooms was such a bonus. The decking was such a lovely sun trap, it was lovely to sit and relax and watch the world go by. “Beautiful van in a very quiet location.”

Easily accessible. Excellent owner who could not do enough to help! Boiler instead of hot water tank, which meant we had constant heating/hot water. 2 Bathrooms so no arguing. Lots of space to chill and eat. Lots of parking next to the van. Definitely coming back and would recommend to anybody. 10/10! Thank Roger!

Roger was very helpful and efficiently answered or resolved any concerns that arose. Walking distance to beach and facilities on site. Loved the cuddle chair after hours of walking this was my chill zone. Good walks for me and my dog. Bonus having decking to sit outside or for the dog to roam sagely. Caravan fully equipped in the kitchen. Also had dvds games and books to read if needed. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately Weather was not on our side but that could not be helped. From the point of contact was the owner communication was very good in actual fact excellent prompt responses on any questions or emails raised and I’d like to thank me owner for that. Caravan at self very pleasant well situated close to the facilities for the clubs food beverages centres all Within nice easy walking distance also close to the beach. Upon arrival at Bunn Leisure staff going to present creating making us feel welcome and gave us a key good directions to where the unit was when living nice easy walking distance also close to the beach. The cuddle chair is a great addition which my wife loved to sit in after our walks with our dog. Having access to the wifi without having to faff was brilliant and made our holiday so much easier. “The service we received up to our stay was fantastic.”

After not much. Apparently we broke a soap dish which means that because the maintenance men had to come out and fix the toilet ( because it had been blocked for some time) we had to pay the call our charge and lose our Deposit. Also the bed in the main bedroom is too hard to sleep on and I love a hard bed. We gave up after the first night and attempted the bed setee but because of the cuddle chair it won’t pull out. It’s a shame really because even though we had an issue with bed we were going to book again for 2 weeks at the end of the year and 2/3 weeks next year but after being charged for fixing a leaking toilet I have booked elsewhere on the site.

The location of the caravan is a combination of being both close enough to the entertainment complex for an easy walk down and far enough away such that there isn’t too much noise when everyone is heading back to their caravan. Roger was extremely helpful and very fast to provide answers to any of our questions and provide us with all the detail we needed. It was so clean and comfy on arrival and have everything we would want for our stay. Inside was beautiful and the best caravans we have ever stayed in. We all noticed the nice new carpets which have been fitted since our last stay. It is so close to the beach and to the play park which was so handy for our children. Great location for the facilities and the beach, lovely walks with our dog. Booking of the caravan was very easy and Roger was very helpful with the booking process. The only thing we found was that the bed in the master bedroom had a hard mattress but this didn't stop us enjoying our stay there! “I had a fantastic week.”

Administration beforehand was efficient and friendly & Roger was accommodating in an earlier check in. The caravan was immaculate throughout, well stocked and had everything I needed. Location wise it is in a great place, close to facilities but far enough away to miss any noise - at times I felt like I was the only person at the park. The van is spacious, wifi is a huge plus and is superfast and the position of the bacony captures the sun from 9 in the morning through to sunset. I enjoyed my stay so much I am thinking of buying at the park but if i don't Roger will be my first point of call when I return to Selsey

“This is the second time we have stayed at this caravan and I have to say, this time was better than the first.”

The whole caravan has been refurbished through out with new carpets blinds and bedding and was again spotlessly clean. It really is a home from home with everything you could need and the two WC's and Wifi throughout are an added bonus. My daughter and I loved cuddling up on the snuggle chair in the evening in front of the warm fire. Roger the owner was very helpful and answered my emails almost straight away and even went to the trouble of arranging an early key collection so we could start enjoying our break early, thank you. Thank you again for an amazing stress free break, we are already trying to arrange another visit back to your beautiful caravan.

“Just came back from a week away and must say the camp site was huge, the caravan was closer to the main complex than we thought, literally just round the corner.”

The caravan was beautiful inside and the bedrooms were a lovely size, i fell in love with the big snuggle chair in the lounge lol. I was also surprised to find an iron and a hairdryer which is not listed on here. Plenty of things to do for younger children on camp especially the fun fair, i took my babies (dogs) with me and we had plenty of places to visit. “I used to visit west sands when I was younger with my family and loved it, after having not been for many years I wanted to take my 6 month old daughter there on her first holiday.”

The site is as I remember very clean and they have everything on site you need, plenty of food choices, arcades and a large swimming pool that we found a little cold but we still had fun. The caravan from Roger was very clean and safe for our little one, we all had a lovely time, my little one loved the big cuddle chair as she could sit on it safely surrounded by all of her toys. We all had a fab time, location of the caravan is great close to facilities and the beach. Thank you Roger you have been fab and responded to emails quickly helping to organise everything, we will definitely book with you again.

The caravan was cleaned to a high standard and was very well equiped we didn't need for anything. There was a crack in the sink in the on suite, but it didn't impinge on the holiday as it was fixed with what felt like minutes of letting Roger know! Fantastic service and no hassle! We had a fantastic holiday the kids enjoyed every second, and it was so nice to come back from a day exploring, to a homely caravan with a decent shower and comfortable beds and sofas! “Best caravan we've ever stayed in, the blow heater in the living room was excellent & the nice thick curtains certainly helped.”

Tryed not to overuse the central heating as I know bottled gas is expensive.Very comfortable seating spent a few afternoons snoozing on these after a long walk with the dog! A large bedroom (compared to most caravans) with a very comfortable double bed.The kitchen area was just right with an extra large hob , a large fridge & a separate freezer.Overall a nice relaxing holiday - wish I was still there!

very homely and comfortable, good position on site or though you need a map to find your way around site. owner was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. caravan situated close to all facilities and beach. we did find the eating in the club house was over priced for what they served, we found the cafes and pubs in the high street in the village a few minutes in the car very friendly and food excellent also most allowed your dog in as well. we had a great holiday and may return for another holiday

“This holiday home is one of the best you could rent and is provided fully equiped including a dog bowl and dvds if its raining.”

We had temperatures of 29 degrees and a bonus the veranda to allow the granddaughter and dog the freedom of inside or out. The grandaughter of 3 years also played in a paddling pool most afternoons. Play parks nearby and swimming pool and entertainment close by,wifi is an excellent addition for older children and adults.So much to do 1 week is not enough. I did enjoy relaxing evenings sitting outside. Roger the owner is quick and courteous to respond to any questions and all staff on the site are very helpfull. I have caravaned for over 40 years and would not hesitate to book and stay again at Selsey.

Roger was courteous and a delight to deal with and always prompt to respond. He allowed my elderly mother and I early access even though he needed to arrange a lock change. The caravan is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and we found the location very quiet but by cutting through the only minutes from the Embassy entertainment suite where the entertainment was excellent. There were supplies of cleaning materials and kitchen basics which is always a blessing. We have stayed in numerous vans over the years and this was one of the nicest. We would love to return. The caravan is spotlessly clean, very comfortable with a fully equipped modern kitchen. The decor is all lovey light neutral colours . It is positioned in an excellent location , 2 minute walk from the main entertainment complex . We were also able to check in at 10 a.m and Leave at 3 p.m as there were no other arrivals. Roger and Emma are lovely people to deal with . Nothing seems too much trouble . Will definitely stay again . If you are looking for a great place to stay , this caravan will not let you down . “Thank you very much for letting your truely exceptionally appointed caravan be hired out out for others to share.”

No one could blame you for keeping it all for yourselves. The 'normal' suite furniture was especially appreciated, and made for a real home from home experience. The cat loved the full length window and spent hours bird and bunny watching. The dog and I loved all the many and easily accessible walks in and around the park, we couldn't get bored with that much choice. The dog bowls in the cupboard available for use shows a real welcome of fury friends. We had it all for our week away - easy stress free booking and payment, super weather (Wednesday not included) and some great local food places too. “Everything I could have dreamed of and more.”

Roger was a pleasure to do business with, from booking the caravan to helping with any queries whilst away. The caravan facilities were clean and comfortable, home from home. Everything that is needed is available. The balcony was lovely to sit on and take my 2 indoor cats on their harnesses. I have mobility issues and need to be able to park right outside, this I could do which was perfect. There was even space to put my mobility scooter and to charge easily. 2 minutes to the beach and park facilities once again made the caravan the perfect for my needs. “This caravan is lovely.”

Close to the Embassy,literally 3mins thru the short cut from all the goings on. But far enough not to hear any noise. Very spacious and clean and very homely. Roger was a pleasure to deal with,always responded with any questions i had. Bunn Leisure is perfect for familys and you wont be dissapointed with this caravan. Espicially with wi fi to :-) Great time had all round.

This was our 2nd time of staying on West sands 1 st time had a great caravan but smaller but this one beats it by a mile and will definitely be booking again. And roger made it so easy to book. I thoroughly recommend renting this caravan for your stay at Bunn Leisure. The site and facilities are great and has something for everyone. And Rogers prices are very fare. “From start to finish our stay at this beautiful caravan was perfect.”

Dealing with Roger, the owner, was seamless and nothing seemed to much trouble. He answered all my questions and responded to me instantly which was great. The caravan itself is just amazing and completely true to the pictures provided, if not better in real life. The free wifi & en-suite double bedroom with TV are just a couple of the bonuses to it. We literally fell in love with it the moment we walked in and to say it was spotless was an understatement! The cleaner Debbie clearly does an amazing job and we were fortunate enough to meet her and she is just lovely. She gave us some great recommendations of places to visit and we really have had just such a lovely weekend in Selsey. We will definitely be visiting again and have now been spoilt by this van, so much so that we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. We loved it :)

“Excellent accommodation, clean, comfortable and spacious.”

Everything I needed for a stress free stay was there (including spare light bulbs and batteries). My German Shepherd " Sirius" ( the Dog Star, not from Harry Potter films! ) enjoyed relaxing on the veranda after a day running in the nature reserve and swimming in the sea. I was very impressed with on site security, always patrolling around the park, very reassuring. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner, Roger, was a delight to do business with. Would not hesitate to book again.

SELSEY

Chichester 8 miles; Pagham 10 miles; Bognor Regis 10 miles; Goodwood 11 miles; Arundel 15 miles; Portsmouth 23 miles.

Once an island (Selsey means ‘Seal Island’), the town stands at the tip of the Manhood Peninsula and Selsey Bill, the southernmost tip of West Sussex. The beach at Selsey is one of the best in Sussex and makes for a perfect family day out. Whether sailing, swimming, beachcombing or just paddling in the sea, this lovely coastline can be enjoyed all year round. Perhaps fishing for the famous Selsey crabs takes your fancy, or there are plenty of restaurants serving this local delicacy in the town. Selsey has a full and varied past, once a haven for smugglers and vagabonds, this part of the coast is now a quaint town with plenty of fisherman's cottages, cafes and sandy beaches. Another reason for holidaying in Selsey is the dark sky; as most of the street lights are turned off at midnight, you will see the sky light up with millions of stars, which is why the famous astrologer Patrick Moore made his home in Selsey. Only a short drive from Selsey and you can be walking the lanes of historic Chichester with its harbour, where you can browse around local shops, or enjoy afternoon tea after a trip to the cathedral, before an evening at the theatre. If racing is more your style then make for Goodwood, with three big events each year, and dozens in between. Also within reach are Fishbourne Palace and Pagham harbour, and scuba diving and horse riding can be enjoyed in the area.
