The property

Black Beck Farm is a traditional, family-run Farm situated in a rural location with panoramic views of Coniston, Fairfield, Yew Barrow, and only a stone's throw away from the Lake District Fells. Open from 1st March to 15th November. Yewbarrow View holiday caravan can be booked for short & long stays, arriving on a Friday or Monday, Short stays - Friday for a 3-night weekend stay, Mid-week break Monday to Friday, Friday to Friday or a Monday to Monday stay As well as 7 or 10 or even a longer summer holiday of 14 nights - The choice is yours!! Dogs are most welcome to stay in Yew Barrow View, a maximum of 2. The Caravan has its own enclosed patio area complete with a picnic table and has views of open countryside and grazing cattle and sheep. Comfortably sleeping up to a family of 6, Yew Barrow View has full modern facilities, including a Double bedroom with an en-suite, a twin bedroom, and a double fold-up bed in the main lounge area. The large Lounge and Dining area features a central gas fire, Digital ‘Freeview’ Sky television, comfortable seating and a large dining table.

The fully equipped kitchen has a gas cooker, oven & grill, microwave, fridge with freezer box, kettle and toaster, with all cutlery and crockery provided. The bathroom features a large shower, washbasin, flush toilet and bathroom heating.

All electricity and Gas is included in your price.

PLEASE NOTE that bed linen is available to hire at additional minimal costs; alternatively, please feel free to bring your own bed linen.

Also available for hire is a highchair and travel cot - please ask for details. Please be aware that we operate a no-smoking policy in the Caravan. Within easy walking distance (1/4 mile - 5 Mins) is the White Hart Pub, the centre of village life, serving excellent Bar and Restaurant meals and some of the finest Real Ales in the County. Why not enjoy a summers evening drink on the Village Green and Play Area in front of the White Hart. The market town of Ulverston is only 5 miles away – featuring bars, restaurants, takes aways, cinema and supermarkets. Lake Windermere, Coniston Water and the heart of the Lake District are within easy reach; you’ll find it difficult to imagine a more ideal location for a relaxing holiday or stay.

Larger towns such as Barrow In Furness, Kendal and Lancaster are also within easy reach. ULVERSTON

Ulverston is a traditional market town built around a cobbled main street. It boasts a fine selection of independent shops, café’s, and pubs with open fires and real ales. There is an extensive selection of eating places to suit everyone, from fine dining to traditional pub food. Ulverston is also well known as a festival town, with events ranging from flags and walking to art and music festivals throughout the summer months and with the renowned Dickensian Christmas festival in late November. It is the birthplace of Stan Laurel and world record holder of the biggest foam pie fight in the world giving a glimpse into the fun community spirited little town. There are excellent walks around the town and beautiful countryside, with views of the southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Home to the deepest, widest and shortest canal, which makes for a lovely afternoon walk with a pub at the end and views over the bay. All of the attractions of the National Park are also easily reached. The Furness Coast boasts sandy beaches and good birdwatching. Nearby family attractions include the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Lakes Windermere and Coniston and popular Birkrigg Common, with its incredible panoramic views across Morecambe Bay.
