“Stunning, like living in a (better) apartment than the good one I live in.”

Very comfortable and so much room and great wrap-round verandah with outside chairs. Heating was good and fast-responding- wasn't the best week of the summer! Highly recommended, already given out details to some freinds!!!

“Property was not as described and was not clean on arrival.”

We were unable to get through to the owners despite trying to contact them using the details provided. The property would benefit from redecoration, and the veranda was not suitable for use with children or a dog, as the gate did not shut or lock, which was one of the reasons we booked. Inside, the oven and freezer had not been cleaned, and the bathrooms also required attention. The bed linen had not been changed or made up on arrival. We left the property shortly after arrival due to these issues and raised our concerns.

“There was no washer as shown on the photograph.”

Around the window frames on the outside needed a wipe over. The skirting board in the bathroom had a chunk of paint missing and there was sand in the bath. Before I left I stripped the beds, the duvet on the double bed was badly stained as was the seating area in the snug, and bed frames could have done with dusting. It would have done with mattress and pillow protectors. Despite this we had a comfortable stay, although the dust aggravated my daughter.

“We spent Christmas in this gorgeous lodge, everything was 'spot on'.”

Spotless cosy and ample room for a large family. Entertainment af the camp was good. Staff were lovely and very helpful. I highly recommend Lauri's accommodation and Cala Gran.

“Unfortunately would of liked to have given a higher rating as caravan was nice but a little run down, my experience with the owner wasn't the best communication was great right up until there was a issue with passes no communication for over 24, hours paid £100 for passes we couldn't use because owner wasn't contactable eventually haven managed to get through to her.”

Wouldn't recommend if there's a issue.

“The listing was for rental of a luxury lodge but unfortunately it did not meet the description of luxury.”

The lodge seemed a bit dated and could do with a bit of a spruce up. The lodge was a very good size for our family of 5 adults, 1 child and small dog, plus the location was ideally situated in the Caravan park. We also thought the check in time and instructions were good. However, we found upon arrival that the lodge was very unclean - floors unswept and dirty, carpets un-hoovered , bins in both bathrooms not emptied (1 had a dirty nappy in it), the table cover covered in crumbs and food stains, a dirty dog food bowl lying in kitchen, the en-suite bathroom generally unclean and everywhere was very dusty. The worst part was the dog finding a pair of soiled pants that had been under the bed in the bedroom off the living room. Also the photos show a washing machine - that is not there, just the space where it had been. We did contact the owner to inform them of what we had found but there was no satisfactory response. It is such a shame having to leave this review but feel it is necessary to highlight the issues we came across. Despite this, we did not let it ruin our holiday and we still enjoyed our short break.

“LOVELY HOLIDAY HOME - VERY SPACIOUS - WITH LOTS OF ROOM IN BEDROOMS AND EXTRA ROOM FOR YOUR LUGGAGE IN THE WALK IN WARDROBE!”

2 TOILETS, 2 SHOWERS , AND A BATH! LOTS OF BOOKS, BOARD GAMES, DVDS, XBOX GAMES, TO KEEP YOU BUSY ON RAINY DAYS, I LOVED THE OUTDOOR SEATING AREA, WERE WE WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO PLAY SCRABBLE & CARDS AT NIGHT WITH A GLASS OF WINE! QUIET AREA AT NIGHT ALSO - LARGE AREA TO PARK YOUR CAR, NICE KITCHEN, CLEANING ITEMS & PRODUCTS, WERE AVAILABLE TO USE, ALSO LARGE FRIDGE FREEZER, AND WASHER, PLENTY OF COMFY SEATING IN LIVING ROOM, ON OUR LAST NIGHT WE LET OUR GRANDSON DECIDE WHAT WE WERE DOING ON OUR LAST EVENING... HE WANTED TO STAY IN! WOULD LOVE TO STAY THERE AGAIN! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP LAURI X

“We arrived here after receiving the text to gain entrance earlier than planned which was great.”

When we walked in the kitchen floor was dirty which clearly hadn’t been hoovered or mopped. It had food crumbs all over it. In the lounge there were only 3 dining chairs ( for a lodge that sleeps 10 that isn’t acceptable). The lounge was big enough for our party but certain parts hadn’t been dusted for a long time! The bedrooms were all made up with bedding and clean. ( the day we left we looked under the superking bed For something we lost and it clearly had not been cleaned for a very long time) we were advised there was a high chair in the lodge - we had 2 x 1 year olds with us. I text to ask where it was and received no response which was disappointing as I even emailed a week earlier to check there was one. The toilet didn’t flush properly In the main bathroom and the light in main bathroom didn’t work. The shower in main bathroom was either freezing or scalding. We had a great time but we were disappoint with the price we paid for the quality we received. This didn’t spoil our holiday at all but definately improvements that could be made.

“What a welcoming lodge this is !”

! All attrntion to detail and beds made up . Tea and coffee was there to use but we had brought our own . There was towels in both bathrooms . It is a beautiful location and a beautiful lodge we loved our stay and we hope to be back next year . Thank you Lauri

This quaint town of Fleetwood, rests at the northwest corner of the Fylde, in Lancashire, bordering Cleveleys, with access to the seaside resort of Blackpool, Preston and the city of Liverpool. The town expanded massively in the first half of the 20th century, with the growth of the fishing industry, and passenger ferries to the Isle of Man.
