    “We had a wonderful stay in this caravan during the August bank holiday week.”

    It was spotless and very light and airy. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning. You can tell that the caravan has been extremely well looked after by the owners. It was very comfortable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful lakeside views.

Stunning 3 bedroomed caravan on a prime lake front location, with wraparound decking. Master bedroom has king size bed with en-suite and 2 further twin bedrooms.

Max of 4 adults and 2 Children, main bathroom with a good walk in shower.

Modern dining kitchen with microwave, oven, kettle, toaster and table seating for 4 people.

Central heating, WIFI available for an extra charge. Lovely family resort with lots of facilities (Payable Locally) for all ages including golf course, archery, bowling green, high wire adventure, Segway hire, Dino karts, water activities on Otters Lake including canoes, kayaks and paddle boards.

There is also an indoor and outdoor pool.

Only a short drive away from Grange Over sands and Cartmel.

About the location

FLOOKBURGH

Cartmel 2 miles; Grange-over-Sands 3 miles.

A superb base to explore this interesting and beautiful area, the historic village of Flookburgh is set near the shores of Morecambe Bay on the outskirts of the magnificent Lake District. It is thought that the locally-caught Fluke fish take their name after the village, and once, Flookburgh was a popular resting point for travellers crossing the sands from Lancaster and still provides a home for cockle and shrimp fishers. Facilities in the village include a pub, a grocery, a chemist, a Post Office and two food outlets. The Cumbrian Coastal Way footpath passes nearby and a short walk away from the village is delightful countryside, such as Humphrey Head, views of the bay, with its wading bird life, and Coniston's mountain range. A few minutes’ drive or a pleasant off road walk leads to historic Cartmel, with its beautiful Priory, popular race course, antique and gift shops, pubs and restaurants; including the Michelin Star-rated L’Enclume. Just over a mile away you will find the beautiful house and gardens of Holker Hall and also nearby you can try horse riding just six miles to the north at Bigland, or visit the Edwardian resort of Grange, which offers a range of hotels, restaurants, shops, a traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens and golf courses.
