“We had a wonderful stay in this caravan during the August bank holiday week.”

It was spotless and very light and airy. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning. You can tell that the caravan has been extremely well looked after by the owners. It was very comfortable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful lakeside views.

“Great break in a lovely caravan in an ideal spot.”

After being told we were double booked by another owner at the last minute we were grateful that Gill & Dave could help us out with great communication and we found a gem. High standards all round in a great layout with decking in front of the lake making it the perfect spot to relax and watch the world go by.

“The caravan was a very good size and lovely and clean.”

We went with my older parents so the en-suite was great for them. The decking area with dining table was comfy and relaxing, with a view over the lake watching the water sports, ducks and swans. The owners were fantastic, with frequent communication and answered any questions I had. I’ would highly recommend this caravan for size, comfort, cleanliness and situated on the lake and I would definitely stay here again.

“A lovely clean caravan.”

Everything you could need was available . Any questions raised with the owner, Gill, were quickly responded to and resolved. Excellent position on the lake front. Although the weather was not the best, we still enjoyed sitting out on the decking, in front of the lake, watching the ducks and swans with their young. We had a lovely relaxing 4 night stay and would highly recommend.

“Had a fantastic weekend break and booking was easy with friendly and helpful owners, Gill and Dave happy to answer any questions.”

The caravan is exceptionally clean, tidy and spacious which is good for families. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, and 2 TVs (1 in living area and 1 in master bedroom) and a beautiful decked area with table and chairs and sun loungers all overlooking the lake. The caravan is located in a quieter part of the park but only a short walk from the park centre. Will definitely be booking again.

Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The ensuite bathroom saved us lots of time in the mornings. WiFi, 2 TVs and a dishwasher were a big bonus too. All in all a lovely place to stay. We'll definitely be booking again.

“Stayed at this caravan just after lockdown.”

Booking was easy as you can speak direct to the owner, Gill. The van was immaculate with everything you need and a credit to it's owners. There is plenty of space for a large family with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The w-ifi was good and with 2 tv's there's no need to be bored if the weather is bad. The view overlooking the lake is fabulous and patio furniture is very comfortable. We've book this van again in the Summer and will be taking the grandchildren with us as there are loads of things to do on site. Would recommend this van to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. You get what you pay for.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
