“Lovely clean caravan on a lovely site .”

In a nice quiet area but still a short walk to the main area and club house. Everything in the caravan worked well and the decking gets the sun all day for a nice relaxing chill out area. Would deffo come back and would recomend to others.

The weather wasn't great but we still had a good time. The oven has only one shelf which was a bit of a pain when trying to cook for 6 people, apart from that everything was fine.

The decking area was perfect for catching the sun, having a glass of wine and having our meals. The caravan was home from home everything that you need . Would definitely recommend a stay here. We came home today and rebooked again for September. Gil Frank and Bertie x

We had a fantastic time. The caravan is beautiful with all the comforts of home, it is Spotlessly clean. The Decking area is perfect for sunbathing and eating.. It is situated in a perfect setting on the park very Private and lots of space around not overlooked. Very good communication with Jo, every detail explained, Thanks, hope to visit again soon, Debbie, Mary and Darron also Lexi our little Dog

Caravan was in a lovely location, nice and quiet set back from the lake but within a couple of minutes from the main entertainment. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Would defo stay there again. Thank you for letting us stay.

Jo was so efficient and accommodating in helping our party with a special needs child nothing was too much trouble. The caravan had everything we needed and more and was spotless. The area is lovely and quiet yet close to everything, hopefully be back for a quiet break .. without grandchildren !! Thankyou.

“This caravan is just how I expected so not one complaint, beautiful inside and out.”

The situation of it is gorgeous, right by the lake, and so much space either side of it so didn't feel overlooked., and all around just so clean and tidy. The Haven site was lovely and we were away from the entertainments so very quiet but a short walk if you wanted a meal or show . It was so easy to visit all the lakes. Jo was so helpful from start to finish and would definitely book again .

“A fantastic caravan in a lovely area of the site.”

So much space around the caravan, it gives the kids plenty of room to run around. The area is only a few minutes walk from all of the attractions but it so peaceful and quiet. Jo was so helpful before, during and after our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The caravan itself is beautiful, spacious, clean and very well kept. The veranda around the caravan extends the space and was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine! We had a wonderful stay at Lakeland and in this caravan- we will be sure to return again in the near future.

“Another fantastic stay at the caravan, we visit my caravan parks throughout the year but this is my favourite, great all round weekend away for both young and older children.”

The caravan itself is spotless and in a beautiful location within the park, there is plenty of space between you and the next caravan really are split here. The owners of the caravan are very friendly and helpful nothing seems to be a problem. The caravan park itself is great with plenty of activities for all ages they even had an ice skating rink this time. My daughter enjoys the childrens disco once we have got her through the large amusement arcades that she loves, the lake is lovely with great water sports. All the areas in the park are clean and tidy I particularly like the outdoor seating area near the crazy golf especially when it's sunny you have a nice view, we found all the staff at the park very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the park we will certainly be going back.

Thought area was much nicer than hired vans from site.Good communication with owner, would definitely book again. Nice to sit outside for lunch etc. Area was nice and peaceful and enjoyed short walk to lake

The caravan is situated on Lakeland Leisure Park. Fully central heated with piped gas and double glazed.

Fully equipped kitchen. 40 inch television And DVD player plus extra TV DVD in master bedroom.

Extra wide 12 ft interior. With 1 double bedroom with en suite and 2 twin rooms our new home is located on the new otters lake development with mains gas supply. Patio doors leading to wrap around decking.

Private Parking space directly in front of caravan Short breaks Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday plus full weeks starting either Monday or Friday. I provide mattress protectors pillows and duvets.

You would need to bring your own sheets pillow cases and duvet Private WiFi at a small charge Pets welcome at a small charge

About the location

FLOOKBURGH

Cartmel 2 miles; Grange-over-Sands 3 miles.

A superb base to explore this interesting and beautiful area, the historic village of Flookburgh is set near the shores of Morecambe Bay on the outskirts of the magnificent Lake District. It is thought that the locally-caught Fluke fish take their name after the village, and once, Flookburgh was a popular resting point for travellers crossing the sands from Lancaster and still provides a home for cockle and shrimp fishers. Facilities in the village include a pub, a grocery, a chemist, a Post Office and two food outlets. The Cumbrian Coastal Way footpath passes nearby and a short walk away from the village is delightful countryside, such as Humphrey Head, views of the bay, with its wading bird life, and Coniston's mountain range. A few minutes’ drive or a pleasant off road walk leads to historic Cartmel, with its beautiful Priory, popular race course, antique and gift shops, pubs and restaurants; including the Michelin Star-rated L’Enclume. Just over a mile away you will find the beautiful house and gardens of Holker Hall and also nearby you can try horse riding just six miles to the north at Bigland, or visit the Edwardian resort of Grange, which offers a range of hotels, restaurants, shops, a traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens and golf courses.
