“We had a fantastic 4 night stay in September.”

Caravan was clean and well kept. Lots of little extras to help, like hairdryer. Good set up on the tv and wifi included. Games and DVD'S as well. The room in the bedrooms is limited but as you only use it to sleep in, not too much of an inconvenience. Well away from the activities so very quiet, perfect for us two old fogies. Recommend.

“We had a lovely stay in this caravan.”

Great base for exploring the lake district. We really enjoyed visiting Coniston and Windermere. Highly recommend the motor museum and boat trip at Windermere. The owner was really welcoming and we found the caravan had everything we needed. For families visiting in peak season, don't forget to book activities in advance on the haven app...I forgot to do this and after buying the (expensive) passes found we couldn't actually do much!

“I decided to book an Easter break for myself and 3 children with Matt, before booking I made contact of which I received a response within an hour.”

Matt was extremely helpful and explained everything I needed to know, and even included a detailed breakdown of the facilities and equipment within the caravan, as well as the onsite amenities. When we arrived the caravan was extremely clean and well presented, there was a lovely homely atmosphere and it was literally a ‘home from home’ environment. There was plenty of board games/toys for the children, a lovely size tv with all the usual apps, wifi, and enough for the whole family to keep occupied. The kitchen facilities were great! Full size gas oven and hob, microwave, toaster and a fridge freezer with plenty of space. The shower is unreal! So hot and powerful compared to other caravans I have stayed in! Super comfy beds and real homely vibes right through. Would highly recommend staying here and booking with Matt. I cannot fault him for his work and effort to make sure that we had a great time! Will be booking again myself in the future. Thanks Matt ????

We keep returning to The Den because of its location, cleanliness, facilities in the caravan and how helpful and accommodating the owners are. The caravan is packed with lots of extras especially for the children as it has WiFi, Netflix, indoor and outdoor games. The caravan is well looked after and spotless. We already have another booking for this year ????

“Caravan is warm and cosy and has everything needed.”

Didnt manage to get any ITV tv channels but didnt influence our stay at all. Not a lot of space in the bedrooms for storage but can use under the beds. Beds were very comfortable and warm with winter duvets. Quiet area of the park.

What a fantastic time we had at The Den! The communication from the moment we booked was above and beyond. The caravan was in a lovely quiet location and it was absolutely spotless, very spacious and really well equipped, even had WIFI! There is so much to do on the site, we’ve been to various Haven sites and this one definitely had the most to offer. Can’t wait to return!!

“We have been to Haven Lakeland many times and this caravan was one of the best we have had from booking to our actual holiday.”

The owners Matt and Racheal were available before we went to answer any questions and were always friendly and happy to help. The caravan had everything you need from cleaning to bedding. There was a nice variety of DVDs and games/activities they have to keep the kids busy on rainy days and the bonus of WiFi in the caravan really helped. We would recommend staying at the den as the location is perfect distance to the main complex and also in a quiet part of the complex. We couldn't fault the service we received or the quality of the cozy caravan and would definitely recommend people to book here.

“Beautiful caravan with everything you need in it and more.”

Owners were very helpful and quick to respond with any queries we had. Van in lovely quiet area of the park. So peaceful and relaxing. My son and I didn’t want to leave when it was time to go home, such a comfortable and warm caravan with gas radiators and lovely feature fire. Couldn’t fault anything and very affordable 4 night stay. Found a real treasure and will definitely be going back as soon as we can. Loved it! Also lots to do in the area.

“This is a beautiful caravan and having the beds made up on arrival is a godsend.”

The owners were more than accommodating with any request we made. The caravan is ideally sited on a cul de sac so safe for children to play out. The caravan is modern, bright and fully equipped with everything to make your stay easy and enjoyable. I would not have any hesitation in recommending this to anyone. For me the only problem is that we didn't book for longer.

Caravan is immaculate and kitted out to very high standard. Things I generally forget to pack are supplied along with extras to entertain us through mixed weather, with plenty outdoor toys for my overgrown kiddies. The site itself is lovely, gardens well kept and friendly staff. Excellent base for seeing beautiful Lakes or just a chill out time on the park. Look forward to a return trip.

“What can I say apart from these owners are attention to detail about you having a lovely holiday, from having a welcome pack regarding the caravan and site when you book to checking in and having a folder in the caravan for where to find things like the ironing board, board games or tips for the local take out or pub.”

Clean, tidy and spacious. We loved the fact it had two toilets and it was in a quiet yet convenient place in the park for facilities. Unfortunately the weather was against us and we had alot of thunder storms and torrential rain, however having access to the internet, internet TV such as netflix and the park facilities with swimming pool made up for it. Local store, although a little bit pricier is still convenient with food in fresh and freezer section,alot from the Co-op. There is a baker and fish &chip shop in the local village. Especially if you love a pie ???? ???? Your very local to grange over sands for a wonder, breakfast, lunch or dinner, easy travel to the lakes such as Windermere, which is a must and if you want to travel a little bit further, Blackpool is only 1hr 30min away for a family day out. ???????? Caravan cleanliness is a slight lower score as it's outsourced to the park and their attention to detail is not up to what we would expect to be a 10/10 however if it was based on the owners and their attention to detail it would be that and if you ever found it to to be different to what they would expect they would be all over it.

“Can not fault our stay in the den.”

Loads of games for the younger children, which was a nice surprise. Played monopoly which lasted 3 days and the girls loved it. Also the music trivia quiz was great for the adults. The weather has been glorious. The location very quiet and very close to the lake & the shops. Lovely comfy beds and all very clean. Lots of little extras provided like hand wash, tea and coffee, salt and pepper & some sauces. Will definitely come back again. Thanks again Matt & Rachel ????.

“Were to start with this fantastic caravan, fully equiped with everthing you need and more, was spotless when we arrived, lovely little touches like tea,coffee,sugar,bread etc, even ice pops in the freezer which was great with the hot weather.”

Caravan in a great location down a cul de sac, not to far from all the main facilities. Matt was fantastic to deal with from start to finish regarding the booking and any questions i had was very promptly answered. Would definatley recommend this caravan as it was great value for money and we couldnt fault it.Thanks again Matt for a great stay.

The Netflix and smart TV with Wi-Fi really helped, and the other amenities spot on too! Bluetooth into a hood sound system to enjoy the music and get into the holiday spirit! - Big microwave for baby bottles and fridge freezer to keep everything nice n cool. Other handy bits n bobs included the fact that there were two bathrooms. Great for a big group of us and a nice wee garden to pop up a tent and enjoy a beer on the table… Just a short walk from the main road where you are equal distance from the lake and the main restaurants, pools etc. Safe, quiet, relaxing, clean and cared for - This is the perfect way to enjoy

“Absolutely gorgeous caravan!”

! So relaxing and very clean!! Highly recommend staying. We have a dog and 2 children all catered for. The caravan is in a great location for the children to get out an do activities and have fun, plus lots of walks for the dog so everyone was happy all round! “We booked last minute, Rachel and Matt were amazing with super fast correspondence letting us know everything we needed to know.”

Caravan is beautiful, exceptionally clean and lots of little touches nothing has been forgot. Near to all the amenities but not too close so you get the peace and quiet. We went with our granddaughters aged 5 & 4 and our twin 16year old twin sons the park is brilliant for all ages and we had no sulks or tantrums until it was time to come home ???? Highley recommended and will definitely be booking again.

Best of both worlds with the caravan location in the park, in a really quiet spot but only a 5 minute walk to the main facilities. The caravan was comfortable, spacious and modern / clean throughout- it had everything we needed for our stay. Great communication with Rachel and Matt- they made sure we had everything we needed, that we were checked in ok and they were on hand for any questions throughout our stay. It's in a nice quiet spot on the park but only a 5minute walk to the centre. Rachel and Matt were amazing, the best communication we have ever had. The caravan was lovely had everything you needed for us as a family. Lots of games provided with free WiFi an Netflix which was a great added bonus in a morning and for a late night family film. The caravan provide all added extras of cleaning products, tea bags etc The owners Matt an Rach was always quick to reply and happy to help. We have booked again an would highly recommend the caravan for other families. The caravan is situated on a quiet road with its own seating and garden area for the kids to play.

“Matt is an exceptional host.”

Caravan spotless and full of modern amenities. The wifi was amazing for the children and the Netflix on tv was very helpful. Very spacious caravan with useful extras such as games and tea coffee sugar etc. however it was not cluttered or full of ornaments leaving plenty of space for us to put our many belongings. Would definitely book again. Thank you. Laura

The charming Edwardian resort of Grange-over-Sands is set between the Lake District fells and Morecambe Bay and offers one of the mildest climates in the north of England. Formerly a small fishing village, the introduction of the Furness Railway transformed Grange-over-Sands into a fashionable Edwardian resort. Today, the town has much to offer the visitor including a traffic-free promenade, delightful ornamental gardens, golf courses, brass band concerts and excellent bird watching. Just a short drive away are Lake Windermere (8 miles), the villages of Bowness-on-Windermere and Hawkshead, which still retain the charm and character that has endeared them to so many, and the home of sticky toffee pudding, Cartmel, with its famous racecourse and the L’Enclume restaurant, which has been voted the 4th best restaurant in the UK. Other attractions in the area include Levens Hall, with its Elizabethan Hall and world famous topiary gardens, Holker Hall, Furness Abbey, Sizergh Castle, a National Trust medieval house and gardens, and Conishead Priory, a Gothic revival country house. There is also the 25 mile Cistercian Way which starts at Grange over Sands. Set amidst the southern lakes, the attractive town of Grange-over-Sands makes a superb base from which to enjoy the whole of this magical area.
