“A beautiful caravan in a beautiful setting.”

Stunning view of the lake and a large decked area to sit on. The caravan is well equipped, clean and the beds were very comfortable. WiFi in the caravan was great and allowed us to sit together and watch Netflix before bed. It became cold on a night time and the heating was very easy to work and the caravan was cozy and warm within 10 minutes. I couldn’t fault this caravan and would definitely recommend. I will book again. The site is also fantastic. Friendly staff, clean and with 24/7 ...

“We stayed for Easter weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

Caravan is beautiful, lake view, and the ducks came to see us every morning. It's really cosy and homely. Absolutely spotless, and beds were so comfortable. Couple of issues when we first arrived, but the owner got onto maintenance straight away. We'll be booking again very soon. Would definitely recommend.

“Easy to book with Keith and Ann.”

Kept informed with the booking and details on arrival. Caravan was in a lovely position on the park. Beds were very comfortable. All modern appliances. Lovely decking area. Nice and safe to keep an eye on the grandchildren. Had a lovely week. Helped that the weather was nice. But the park had a lot of activities for families. Best caravan we have stayed in. “Lovely caravan in a beautiful location overlooking the lake.”

Nice and warm due to very good heating system. Great to have 2 bathrooms both with showers. The radiator in the main bathroom was dirty when we arrived but the rest of the van was nice and clean. Only thing I would say was missing that would have been beneficial were some bin bags. Very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

It’s a real home from home The view was beautiful across the lake with the early sunrise It snowed while we were there which definitely added to the views The only thing we struggled with was the microwave ?? us oldies did not understand it even after I googled it ????

Beautiful views. Beautifully decorated inside. Modern. Lovely touch including a couple of dishwasher tablets. Washing machine also in the caravan which is handy. Plenty of space. Would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone. Thank you for our stay :)

“We had a lovely stay, the caravan is in a fabulous and peaceful position on otter lake and the sunrises were absolutely spectacular.”

Would’ve been great to have some outdoor seating on the balcony but we still enjoyed watching the boats on the lake and the parachuters jumping from the plane. Caravan and everything inside is like brand new and the kids enjoyed the little shingle beach out front. We would love to stay again soon. From The Shinners family

Cartmel 2 miles; Grange-over-Sands 3 miles.

A superb base to explore this interesting and beautiful area, the historic village of Flookburgh is set near the shores of Morecambe Bay on the outskirts of the magnificent Lake District. It is thought that the locally-caught Fluke fish take their name after the village, and once, Flookburgh was a popular resting point for travellers crossing the sands from Lancaster and still provides a home for cockle and shrimp fishers. Facilities in the village include a pub, a grocery, a chemist, a Post Office and two food outlets. The Cumbrian Coastal Way footpath passes nearby and a short walk away from the village is delightful countryside, such as Humphrey Head, views of the bay, with its wading bird life, and Coniston's mountain range. A few minutes’ drive or a pleasant off road walk leads to historic Cartmel, with its beautiful Priory, popular race course, antique and gift shops, pubs and restaurants; including the Michelin Star-rated L’Enclume. Just over a mile away you will find the beautiful house and gardens of Holker Hall and also nearby you can try horse riding just six miles to the north at Bigland, or visit the Edwardian resort of Grange, which offers a range of hotels, restaurants, shops, a traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens and golf courses.
