    Caravan was spot on couldn't fault anything , very well equipped home from home nice welcome gift, good location near to all amenities, definitely worth 10/10 , nice walk up to lake about 10 mins to watch various water sports then back for breakfast on Caravan balcony couldn't ask for anything more definitely recommend

The property

Our holiday home is like a home from home, fully equipped with everything you need.

Located on the Eskdale area. Only a short walk to the onsite amenities. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, dressing table, TV, wardrobes, and an en-suite bathroom with shower and bath, wash basin, and WC. The second bedroom has 2 full-size single beds and wardrobes.

The main bathroom has a large shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. The kitchen area is an open plan, fully fitted kitchen, full-size fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Spacious lounge with a corner sofa, TV and DVD player. Double patio doors lead onto the south facing decking area which gets the sun all day, with garden furniture to sit and enjoy. Strictly No Smoking/vaping EV Charging Dogs must be kept under control and not left in the caravan unattended. Entertainment passes are not included in the price.

About the location

FLOOKBURGH

Cartmel 2 miles; Grange-over-Sands 3 miles.

A superb base to explore this interesting and beautiful area, the historic village of Flookburgh is set near the shores of Morecambe Bay on the outskirts of the magnificent Lake District. It is thought that the locally-caught Fluke fish take their name after the village, and once, Flookburgh was a popular resting point for travellers crossing the sands from Lancaster and still provides a home for cockle and shrimp fishers. Facilities in the village include a pub, a grocery, a chemist, a Post Office and two food outlets. The Cumbrian Coastal Way footpath passes nearby and a short walk away from the village is delightful countryside, such as Humphrey Head, views of the bay, with its wading bird life, and Coniston's mountain range. A few minutes’ drive or a pleasant off road walk leads to historic Cartmel, with its beautiful Priory, popular race course, antique and gift shops, pubs and restaurants; including the Michelin Star-rated L’Enclume. Just over a mile away you will find the beautiful house and gardens of Holker Hall and also nearby you can try horse riding just six miles to the north at Bigland, or visit the Edwardian resort of Grange, which offers a range of hotels, restaurants, shops, a traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens and golf courses.
