I can’t fault this caravan. It really was home from home. Emma has thought of everything! Great communication before , during and after my stay. Location of the caravan is perfect. Will definitely be keeping Emma’s details to book again. X

Emma was great in replying to my messages. The park it self is great for smaller kids. However, I don't get why you pay so much money for the passes when you still need to pay for just about everything!

“We had a wonderful 4 nights staying in Emma's caravan.”

Second time at Lakeland and first time staying with a private owner - much prefer this now vs booking through Haven. Caravan was homely and well looked after, lots of space for the 3 of us and in a perfect spot in the park. My little girl loved walking over to the lake (30 seconds away) and feeding the ducks and ducklings ???? Emma was super helpful and happy to answer any questions before and during stay. 10/10 would stay here again and would love to come back and stay in this caravan again ???? thank you!!

Just back from our fantastic stay a Lakeland very impressed with the park layout and cleanliness as well as our stunning caravan which Emma kindly let us stay ,the full family had a great time (pity about the weather)and would highly recommend for a family break and will hopefully be back soon

“The caravan was in a lovely area with pleasant views to Otters Lake.”

We made great use of the furniture on the decking. It was one of the best caravans we have stayed in, was immaculate and clean and had all that we needed. The on-site activities were fab, but due to the pandemic we had to book at least a day in advance. We had an enjoyable holiday and we will definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to explore Windermere & surrounding areas. If we ever wish to visit the Lake District again, we will definitely enquire about this superb caravan. Thank you.

The property

Located on the new Otters lake development.

Our holiday home is like home from home with all the luxury touches included.

Fabulous lake views from the full wrap around decking. The Master bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table, smart TV, En-Suite with full size bath, shower , WC and basin. The second bedroom has two full size single beds, wardrobe and smart TV.

The main bathroom has large shower, WC and basin. Beautiful fully fitted open plan kitchen, full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher and lots of added extras. The lounge area has a large fitted corner sofa.

Double patio doors lead onto the large wrap around decking with luxury garden furniture to sit and enjoy the spectacular lake views. WIFI throughout the caravan, free of charge. I truly believe our holiday home really is special and does have that extra special feel.

About the location

FLOOKBURGH

Cartmel 2 miles; Grange-over-Sands 3 miles.

A superb base to explore this interesting and beautiful area, the historic village of Flookburgh is set near the shores of Morecambe Bay on the outskirts of the magnificent Lake District. It is thought that the locally-caught Fluke fish take their name after the village, and once, Flookburgh was a popular resting point for travellers crossing the sands from Lancaster and still provides a home for cockle and shrimp fishers. Facilities in the village include a pub, a grocery, a chemist, a Post Office and two food outlets. The Cumbrian Coastal Way footpath passes nearby and a short walk away from the village is delightful countryside, such as Humphrey Head, views of the bay, with its wading bird life, and Coniston's mountain range. A few minutes’ drive or a pleasant off road walk leads to historic Cartmel, with its beautiful Priory, popular race course, antique and gift shops, pubs and restaurants; including the Michelin Star-rated L’Enclume. Just over a mile away you will find the beautiful house and gardens of Holker Hall and also nearby you can try horse riding just six miles to the north at Bigland, or visit the Edwardian resort of Grange, which offers a range of hotels, restaurants, shops, a traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens and golf courses.
