Just returned from five days at this beautiful holiday home, What a wonderful place this is , The caravan was spotlessly clean very comfortable and so well equipped, The location was perfect ,Fortunately the weather was good to so we were able to sit out on the decked area and take leisurely walks around the site with our dog ,the site itself was emmaculate and very spacious, A very enjoyable relaxing break highly reccommend it would love to return many thanks

“Beautiful modern clean caravan with everything you may need for a comfortable stay - the beds are unreal so comfy!”

The caravan is in a perfect quiet location just near the Lake,my little boy loved all the ducks and the little rabbits that were all over the park! the grounds are stunning and very well kept and there is plenty to do.Booking was easy and mark the owner was friendly and responded to any queries we had. We don't often book the same caravan twice but would happily stay here again.The area,caravan and grounds were just beautiful ???? Thank you for letting us stay.

“This was our first visit to the Lakeland Park.”

We've had a fabulous weekend, which was a surprise for my 11 year old daughter. The accommodation was in a great location. Near enough to the Leisure activities but quiet of a night. Plenty of room for us all and very clean. The owner, Mark, was very helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had prior and upon arrival to our stay. Would definitely stay again.

“We stayed at plot 36 Clabbermere, what a beautiful, well presented caravan.”

It was modern, clean and very spacious. It had all modern appliances and the decor was clean and fresh. It's located a few rows back from Otters Lake which was perfect. It's a short walk from the main entertainment area and also the water sports center. The owner was very prompt and friendly if we had any questions Mark was on the other end of the phone. A great stay and we would return to this particular plot.

“A lovely caravan with decking situated near Otters lake, away from the busier areas of the park, a great base for exploring the lakes and surrounding areas.”

The caravan has everything you need, beds are very comfy, good storage and outside space for the kids to play. The owners are extremely helpful and very quick at responding to any queries we had. We would definitely stay again!

The property

Welcome to the advert for our caravan sited on the picturesque Lakeland Park in Flookburgh, near Grange over Sands and Cartmel in the South Lakes.

Our caravan is a 2014 Willerby Atlanta (Haven "Platinum + Decking" standard) with 2 bedrooms plus sofa bed, sleeping 6 in total.

It has: patio doors leading to a lovely decking area with outdoor furniture, a fully fitted bathroom with shower + en-suite toilet and a fully fitted kitchen, is double glazed throughout and has gas central heating.

It is smoke free and surrounded by safe open grassy areas.

Lakeland Leisure Park has loads to do (biking, kayaking, golf, swimming, Segways, archery etc.) and is 10 minutes’ drive from Grange-over-Sands and Cartmel and around 20 minutes from Newby Bridge and the southern tip of Windermere.

In addition to being on the doorstep of the famous lakes and fells, also nearby are Castles and Stately Homes to explore. The master bedroom is spacious with a double size bed, plenty of storage space with a walk in wardrobe and an en-suite.

The twin room has 2 single beds and is perfect for kids to feel cosy.

The lounge offers sleeping space for 2, so a family of up to 6 will have plenty of space.

We also have the facility to make the twin room in to a Double size bed by pushing the two singles together The bathroom is equipped with a powerful spacious double sized shower.

The kitchen/dining area is perfect for family dining.

For the sunnier days there is a dining table and chairs on the decking lake.

A fantastic place to relax on a family holiday.

GRANGE-OVER-SANDS

Cartmel 2 miles; Lake Windermere 8 miles; Kendal 10 miles.

The charming Edwardian resort of Grange-over-Sands is set between the Lake District fells and Morecambe Bay and offers one of the mildest climates in the north of England. Formerly a small fishing village, the introduction of the Furness Railway transformed Grange-over-Sands into a fashionable Edwardian resort. Today, the town has much to offer the visitor including a traffic-free promenade, delightful ornamental gardens, golf courses, brass band concerts and excellent bird watching. Just a short drive away are Lake Windermere (8 miles), the villages of Bowness-on-Windermere and Hawkshead, which still retain the charm and character that has endeared them to so many, and the home of sticky toffee pudding, Cartmel, with its famous racecourse and the L’Enclume restaurant, which has been voted the 4th best restaurant in the UK. Other attractions in the area include Levens Hall, with its Elizabethan Hall and world famous topiary gardens, Holker Hall, Furness Abbey, Sizergh Castle, a National Trust medieval house and gardens, and Conishead Priory, a Gothic revival country house. There is also the 25 mile Cistercian Way which starts at Grange over Sands.
